Moto Z2 Force Update Brings Big List of Changes

Motorola is rolling out the a new update to the Moto Z2 Force at T-Mobile with several fixes, stability improvements, and feature additions. Motorola has also added Android Security Patch of August 1, 2017.


There are several new features as well, Netflix support has now been added to Insta-Share Projector Moto Mod. The update also includes Google Daydream support. Motorola has also improved the Wired headset compatibility and Front-facing video camera performance.

The update is already rolling out to the users of the Moto Z2 Force. If you did not receive the update wait for a few days or you can check it manually by going to Settings - About Phone - Software Updates.

Motorola’s instructions explain that for a successful installation, the battery in your phone should be at least 50% charged and your device should be connected to a Wi-Fi network or LTE.

You can now download and install the LineageOS 15 based on Android 8.0 Oreo on your Moto G 1st Generation (Moto G 2013) Smartphone.

Google recently launched the Next Iteration of its Android Operating System Android 8.0 Oreo. The Tech Giant also pushed Android Oreo source code to AOSP, helping the developers develop custom ROMs for their devices based on Oreo.


Well, if you are a Moto G owner, then this recent development might be of interest to you. Developer "Carlos Arriaga" has successfully ported Android 8.0 Oreo LineageOS 15 on the Moto G 1st Generation. Additionally, most major aspects of the phone are working as expected (such as the RIL for Single Sim, WiFi, sensors, etc.), but it's still not suitable for daily use because Camera, Bluetooth and Sim for Dual Sim devices are still not working.

You'll need to Unlock Bootloader and Install TWRP Custom Recovery in-order to Install the LineageOS 15 Android 8.0 Oreo Rom on Moto G 2013 falcon. You can grab the Custom Rom ZIP file from below.

Screen Protection: The Xiaomi Mi A1 comes with 2.5D Curved Gorilla Glass 3. However, the Mi 5x doesn't feature any Gorilla Glass Protection.

Availability: The Mi 5X is China exclusive, however you can import that device from Gearbest. The Mi A1, thanks to Google's Android One Project will be available in tons of countries.
