Google launches "Tez" Payment Application in India

Google has launched "Tez" a new Payment Application in India for both Android and iOS devices. The app comes with tons of features, which lets you make payments and transfer money with ease.

Send money home to your family, split a dinner bill with friends, or pay the neighborhood Chaiwala. Make all payments big or small, directly from your bank account with Tez, Google’s new digital payment app for India.

With Tez, you can transfer money directly to your bank account. Simply link your account to Tez over UPI and instantly transfer money from bank to bank. It comes with enhanced Google’s multi layered security and 24/7 protection feature. You also get Tez Cash Mode, which lets you instantly send or receive payments to anyone nearby without sharing personal details like your phone number or bank account.

You can also earn Tez Scratch Cards to win up to ₹1,000 with each transaction, ₹1 lakh every week with Lucky Sundays. You don’t need to hunt for coupon codes. Just use Tez and if you win, your rewards go straight into your bank account.

Google plans to update Tez Application with new features including Pay through debit and credit cards, and Pay and set reminders for recurring bills such as DTH in future.

Nokia 8 to get Android Oreo Soon, Beta Test Is Ongoing

Now that Google has released the next version of Android, Android 8.0 Oreo, the wait for the devices to get the update first has already started. Recently Nokia confirmed that they will be updating all the Nokia Android Smartphones to Android 8.0 Oreo (Including Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, and Nokia 8).

Now, Nokia has started testing the Android 8.0 Oreo Beta update on the Nokia 8. This means that the Oreo won't be coming to all users at once, but selected users enrolled for Closed Beta will get the update for testing purpose.

Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas on his twitter handle shared some Images showing the Nokia 8 Android Oreo (Beta) Update screen.

That said, HMD plans to roll out the Android Oreo update to all the Nokia Android Smartphones by the end of 2017. We'll let you know once we get more information.

Unofficial Lineage OS 15 based on Android Oreo is now available for the Moto G 2nd Generation

You can now download and install the LineageOS 15 based on Android 8.0 Oreo on your Moto G2 2014 Smartphone.

Google recently launched the Next Iteration of its Android Operating System Android 8.0 Oreo. The Tech Giant also pushed Android Oreo source code to AOSP, helping the developers develop custom ROMs for their devices based on Oreo.

Well, if you are a Moto G 2nd Generation owner, then this recent development might be of interest to you. Developer "LuK1337" and "luca020400" has successfully ported Android 8.0 Oreo LineageOS 15 on the Moto G 2014. Additionally, most major aspects of the phone are working as expected (such as the RIL, WiFi, sensors, etc.).

You'll need to Unlock Bootloader and Install TWRP Custom Recovery in-order to Install the LineageOS 15 Android 8.0 Oreo Rom on Moto G 2nd Gen Titan. You can grab the Custom Rom ZIP file from below.

Moto Z Play gets August Security Patch in India

Moto Z Play is now getting a new software update in the India with Security Patches, bug fixes and Stability improvement.

This new update brings August 2017 Security patch and stability improvements fixes. This update comes with build no. NPNS26.118-22-1.

The update is already rolling out to the users of the Moto Z Play in India. If you did not receive the update wait for a few days or you can check it manually by going to Settings - About Phone - Software Updates.

Motorola’s instructions explain that for a successful installation, the battery in your phone should be at least 50% charged and your device should be connected to a Wi-Fi network or LTE.

Recently Motorola announced the list of devices getting Android 8.0 Oreo and the Moto Z Play is eligible for the update. Motorola plans to roll Android Oreo update by the end of 2017.

Get all Galaxy Note 8 features on S8 or S8 Plus with NEMESIS Port ROM
