Moto G6 Play visits Geekbench, Confirms Specifications

Moto G6 Play visits Geekbench, Confirms Specifications
We've been hearing rumours for some time that Motorola will launch a Play variant along with the Moto G6 family. The device has already been through some certification for its Wi-Fi and Bluetooth components. Now, according to Geekbench, it seems that we've confirmed specification of the Moto G6 Play.

The Moto G6 Play would feature a Snapdragon 430 chipset, which is quite old. Motorola could have used the Snapdragon 450, which is better than the SD430. Additionally, the device would come with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

According to earlier leaks, G6 Play would get a HD Display with an Unknown Screen Size. It has a giant 4000mAh with fast charging. The device will ship with dark charcoal, gold, and deep blue colors.

Motorola and Lenovo are all set to reveal the Moto G6 family at the Mobile World Congress 2018 in Barcelona, Spain.

The last time we updated you on the status of Moto G4 Play updates, we told you that Motorola is rolling out Android 7.1.1 Nougat, and now the company is sending another update to the device that introduces the January 2018 security patch.

If you own a Moto G4 Play in Brazil you should have received the over-the-air update notification for January 1st, 2018 Android security update. That’s all that is detailed in the new software version (NPIS26.48-36-2), though there is a mention of "KRACK" Fix. It’s a WiFi vulnerability that breaks WPA2 by forcing nonce reuse.

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro both supports Quick Charge 2.0

Xiaomi's Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro both supports QuickCharge 2.0
Xiaomi recently announced the Redmi Note 5 (A.K.A Redmi 5 Plus) and Redmi Note 5 Pro with 18:9 Full Screen Display and Snapdragon 625 (Note 5), Snapdragon 636 (Note 5 Pro).

Both of these smartphones support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge?
Yes, both of them supports QuickCharge 2.0 through Micro USB.

A lot of Xiaomi’s smartphones don’t support Qualcomm’s Quick Charge, even though they have the necessary hardware. The reason is because the manufacturer doesn’t usually pay the license fee required to use the technology, which has been the case with the Mi A1 and Redmi Note 4.

Both the Redmi Note 5's and Redmi Note 5 Pro's Processor are also capable of using Quick Charge 3.0, but considering the price and specifications, Qualcomm QuickCharge 2.0 is used. Stay tuned to our Facebook and Twitter page to get the first News.
