How to Install Stock Firmware on Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation -

Step 1. First Download The Drivers , Fastboot and Motorola Moto G 3rd generation firmware images from below .

Step 2. Install The drivers , In Fastboot folder extract the firmware image .



Step 3. Boot the Moto G 3rd generation to fastboot mode by Pressing Both Volume Buttons and the Power button at the same time .

Step 4. Connect your Moto G 3rd generation and your Desktop via USB cable .

Step 5. Open cmd in mfastboot folder ( By pressing shift key and Right mouse click ) ..

Step 6. Paste this command -


fastboot flash partition gpt.bin
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot flash boot boot.img
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0

  1. How would you recover your device from a soft bootloop, especially when you know yhe battery isn't removable? This qstn stops me from getting a moto g3

    1. Hey , In Moto G3 and other smartphones we can go to power off mode by just pressing power button for 5-10 seconds . Then you can go to fastboot mode easily !

    mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk1

    Will fail, because when you extract image, it is actually

    mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1

    So you need flash:

    mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.0
    mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.1
    mfastboot flash system system.img_sparsechunk.2

    and so on.

  5. i was extracted the firmwere files in fastboot and i also downloaded the moto drivers from link but how to install it will i have to extract these drivers in fastboot please help
