[Download][OTA] Official Android 5.1 update for Moto E

    



Recently we posted that Android 5.1 Lollipop is now rolling out for Motorola Moto E 1st generation in India .

Saurabh Sinha a Moto E user has successfully captured the OTA update link and users can manually update Moto E 1st generation to Android 5.1 Lollipop .




How to update Moto E 1st generation to Android 5.1 Lollipop -


Note - You might find difficulty in Installing Update , As you need to follow exact procedure of updates ( 4.4.4 > 5.0.2 > 5.1.1 ) ! If you find any difficulty - Follow XDA Thread of 5.1 Lollipop .

Step 1. Download Lollipop Soak test zip and Rename it to " Blur_Version.23.21.34.condor_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03 " .

Step 2. Place Lollipop Soak test zip into Your Internal as well as External Memory card .

Step 3. Reboot your Motorola Moto E once .

Step 4. Go to Settings > About device and System Update and check for Update .

Step 5. Your device will start Downloading Lollipop update and it will reboot automatically and Lollipop Update Installation will start .

Note - It will take some time to boot . 


Update - Those who are on kitkat ! First Install 341 mb ( 1st Update ) then > 13 mb ( 2nd update ) > 291 mb ( 5.1 update ) .

    1. Hello ! If you are on kitkat then first install 341 mb > 13 mb > 209 mb !
