Well, if you are a OnePlus One owner, then this recent development might be of interest to you. Developer "Prema Chand Alugu", "John Brewer", and "Martin Coulon" has successfully booted up Android 8.0 Oreo GroundZero Open Source Project (GZOSP) on the OnePlus One. The developer has also shared a screenshot showing the About Phone Settings section.
As you can see in the below Screenshot Image, the OnePlus One is running Android 8.0.0 Oreo based on GZOSP. It is having the latest August 5, 2017 Security patch.
The developer is actively working to fix all the bugs present and is expected release the Custom Rom soon.
You'll need to Root and Install TWRP Custom Recovery in-order to Install the Android 8.0 Oreo Rom on OnePlus One Bacon.
