Android P Beta on its way for Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7, and Nokia 8 Sirocco in China

Back at Google IO, Google released new Android P Build (Developer Preview 2) with exciting new features, and also announced a huge expansion of its Android Beta program. Google made the new firmware available for non-Google devices including Smartphones from brands like OnePlus, Xiaomi, Nokia, Essential, Sony, Vivo, and Oppo Smartphones.

Nokia 7 Plus was one of the lucky Smartphone to receive Android P Beta across the globe, except China.

Now, Nokia’s Beta Labs in China, is allowing a limited number of Nokia 7 Plus who signed up for the beta program between June 21 and June 24 to get a taste of new Software (Android P Beta). Not only that, Nokia is also expanding this wave to other Nokia Smartphones including Nokia 6.1, Nokia 7, and Nokia 8 Sirocco in China.

There's no exact date on when HMD is going to roll Android 9.0 P Beta to these devices. Also it is unclear if HMD Global has any plans to bring the Android P beta to the international variants of the Nokia 6.1, and Nokia 8 Sirocco. We will let you know once the update is live. Android 8.1 Oreo update for Nokia 7 Plus and Nokia 6 2018 begins rolling out

The recently announced Nokia 6 2018 and Nokia 7 Plus is now receiving Official Android 8.1 Oreo. It it is the lastest Android Software from Google and arrives in as build  v2.13B for the Nokia 6.1 and the Nokia 7 Plus.

Android 8.1 comes with numerous changes over Android 8.0. You get new dark and light themes which changes according to wallpaper, Pixel 2 Launcher, Redesigned Power Menu, new Shutdown and Reboot Animation, Round Statusbar Icons, and Settings. Nokia has also added the latest April 2018 Security Patch with the update.

The Android 8.1 for the Nokia 7 Plus weights in at around 510MB, and 802MB for the Nokia 6 2018. Nokia's instructions explain that for a successful installation, your device should be connected to a Wi-Fi network.

If you haven't got the notification of this new software update yet, Just go to Settings - About Phone - Software updates, and It will automatically start downloading the latest update. Nokia 7 and Nokia 6 (2018) Gets Android 8.0 Oreo Update - Here's What's New

The recently announced Nokia 6 2018 and Nokia 7 are now officially getting Android 8.0 Oreo Software update in China.

Android Oreo comes with numerous enhancements over Android Nougat, such as faster booting, new Settings and Quick-Settings UI, Picture in Picture (PIP), Adaptive icons, Autofill, Notification timeout, Motorola has also added several new features to the latest software update. Android 8.0 Oreo update for the Nokia 6 2018 and Nokia 7 also brings the latest Security Patch.

The update is already rolling out to the users of Nokia 6 2018 and Nokia 7 in phases. If you did not receive the update wait for few days or try checking for it manually by heading over to system updates section in the Settings app. Make sure you've at least 50 percent juice left on your phone before updating it.

Alright, Here's the Nokia 6 2018 in Black and White. We also have the pricing that you’ll need to brace yourself for.

We're just a few hours away from the launch of Nokia's 6 smartphone and the leaks continue to pour in. After pretty much revealing the design on Chinese certification website Tenna, we now have more from Chinese e-commerce Suning. The listing on Suning unofficially confirms the Nokia 6 2018 with Black and White color starting at 1499 Chinese Yuan.

As listed, the 2018 Nokia 6 features a 5.5" Display, Single 16MP Rear Camera with Bothie feature, Snapdragon 630 CPU paired with 4GB DDR4 RAM. The Nokia 6 2018 runs Android 7.1.1 Nougat and will be upgraded to Android 8.0 Oreo in near future. The Design looks far better than the OG Nokia 6.

You get two variants, 4+32GB which costs 1499 Yuan while the 4+64GB is priced at 1699 Yuan.
