As we know that today Google is finally launching android 5.0 With New Nexus ( may be ) . As Google has already Launched android 4.4.4 and update Nexus 5 and Nexus 7 . But the other Smartphone companies can Skip android 4.4.4 and give direct update to android 5.0 . 

As , No company will build Android 4.4.4 then android 5.0 , If android 5.0 sources will be available today . Then the smartphone companies can give direct updates to android 5.0 . 

Mostly Motorola , Some Samsung devices , Some Sony devices can skip android 4.4.4 update .

Samsung has already launched so many smartphones that it has crossed thousands of units and still its not a super company which phones got out of stocked in few hours , But Motorola Did that , Moto E Got out of stock because of Its low price , Google - Motorola companies behind it , Latest android smartphone , 4.3 inch display and most important that it is only available in 6999 rs only . As we indians only wants low ranged phones with high specs , So by the popularity of this Moto E got out of stock within few hours .

After seeing the same , Micromax an Indian company launched Micromax Unite 2 with same price and specs more that moto e , But as i Said 'Micromax' The company makes the phone with Mediatek chipset and awful battery performance also Its services are also so bad .

Now Samsung is going to launch i Low range smartphone with Good specs and Android Kitkat inside it . Finally Samsung galaxy s3 users got android 4.4.2 kitkat . Previously we posted that s3 is not getting android 4.4.2 kitkat update by Samsung and now Xda members ported official stock rom for note 2
Samsung UK Already said that Samsung galaxy s3 is not getting android 4.4.2 kitkat due to 1gb of ram . But the good news is Samsung galaxy s3 xda members Kryten2k35 , arter97 ,forumber2 and justarchi are made it successful to port Samsung galaxy s3 official kitkat rom . 
Samsung galaxy owners will be very happy to see Kitkat on their devices and that also official . The update which samsung will never give had given by their xda gods . One again Tech-droider salutes the porter of the rom .

Note - Its not stable yet so you will face some bugs while using it . But good news is that its official port and stable version will come soon . This rom is based on Note N7100 firmware .

Micromax A106 : First Kitkat Micromax Smartphone

Micromax Is making smartphones and had become india's 2nd largest company after samsung to sell smartphone . 5 out  and one customer is buying micromax . But in few days users get dissappointed due to Inability of Micromkax to give android kitkat 4.4.2 . Due to its mediatek processor , it was difficult to make 4.4.2 kitkat .

In our recent post we posted that micromax is caught testing android 4.4.2 update in micromax canvas 4 and now its another leak that micromax is launching new phone with kitkat out of the box . 

First micromax will launch the phone then they will start rooling kitkat updates , to maintain their sales and customers also .

But after a leak manual , it was varified that micromax had already made 4.4.2 kitkat and will be avaialble with New Micromax flagship that is Micromax A106  .

Here is the leaked document which states that -

Micromax A106 comes with KitKat 4.4.2 that is capable of performingvarious functions just like your personal computer and can bepersonalized according to your own needs. For example, you can add andremove applications or upgrade existing applications to improve thefunctions. At the Android market, an ever growing range of applications,games, movies, and books are available for you to download.

Micromax A106 will come with mediatek processor and Quad core cpu .  Another news is that the new micromax elanza 2 has now been official with android 4.3 jelly bean . Micromax elanza 2 is an Upgrade version of Micromax elanza and has been updated to Latest jelly bean version that is 4.3 Jelly bean .

Samsung Devices with 1gb Ram will Not get Kitkat update - Confirmed

Recently we posted that samsung galaxy s3 was not going to get any further update . May be it is because of 18 months policy that after the launch of device , it will get updates till 18 months only . But yesterday , Samsung cleared that They need approximately 2Gb or 1.5gb ram to make Samsung kitkat official roms . 1gb Ram cannot handle Samsung apps and Are hanging and giving Force close . This is the reason Why Samsung galaxy s3 was eliminated for getting further updates . Also Samsung is not even giving any updates to 1gb devices .

Here is the message from Samsung Uk, which confirmed No updates for 1gb devices-

“In order to facilitate an effective upgrade on the Google platform, various hardware performances such as the memory (RAM, ROM, etc.), multi-tasking capabilities, and display must meet certain technical expectations. The Galaxy S3 and S3 mini 3G versions come equipped with 1GB RAM, which does not allow them to effectively support the platform upgrade. As a result of the Galaxy S3 and S3 mini 3G versions’ hardware limitation, they cannot effectively support the platform upgrade while continuing to provide the best consumer experience. Samsung has decided not to roll-out the KitKat upgrade to Galaxy S3 and S3 mini 3G versions, and the KitKat upgrade will be available to the Galaxy S3 LTE version as the device’s 2GB RAM is enough to support the platform upgrade.” – Samsung Mobile UK

 More over Samsung introduced Samsung galaxy ace style with 512 mb ram and with kitkat out of the box .
Samsung is really doing wrong with the customers and instead of Further giving more updates , they are launching more and more smartphone , to increase their sales . Many pages of Facebook and comments are showing that the users will not further buy Samsung products .

Samsung galaxy s3 GT-I9300 Is not getting official android 4.4.2 KitKat update

And it is dooms day for Samsung galaxy s3 users . Recently Samsung galaxy s3 sprint version got android 4.4.2 Update but after the leak picture of devices getting android 4.4.2 kitkat update we got to know that s3 users are finally not getting android 4.4.2 kitkat update .Only  s3 GT-I9300 international variant will not get any further updates because of some unsolved issue . 15 minutes before Sammobile.com posted the confirmed kitkat update for devices and it became a very bad day for s3 users .

Also many users are also disappointing with Samsung decision . Samsung has declined the third generation Samsung smartphone to up date with kitkat because it has only 1gb ram , while other s3 variants comes with 2 gb of ram that are LTE and US models  .Also its being 18 months to launch Samsung  galaxy s3 and according to Samsung's 18 months policy there will be no further updates for the device .

Samsung finally announced Official android 4.4.2 update for note 2 users who lives in india . Note 2 users can update their smartphones by ota . They can do this by , going to settings > about phone > Software update .Or they can use kies to update their phones .

Android 4.4.2 kitkat brings stability and Fast , smooth performance for note 2 users . It also brings new apps and New devices supports . Other country users can also enjoy this update i.e android 4.4.2 kitkat update by installing the firmware via odin .

It is for only GT-N7100 Users and its build date is Tuesday 8 April .  Other country note 2 users can assume that the updates are not far behind .

Micromax an Indian Mobile company is now testing Android 4.4.2 kitkat on their smartphones . Kitkat was launched very earlier but because of these mediatek chipsets , it became very difficult to compile kitkat .

By the leaked informations , Micromax was testing kitkat 4.4.2 on Canvas 4 , it was a beta testing and was removed from the website after few hours . But some people snapped the screenahot of the firmware . The firmware was easily flashable using SP flash tools .




Here is the snapshot which was captured by someone . May be he downloaded the link . Its going to be starting of may and since no updates are there . Micromax is loosing their customer because of no updates .
