Finally Its Here ! Yes MIUI 5 for Samsung Galaxy Core / Core duos I8260 / I8260 . MIUI is mostly used Custom Rom after cyanogenmod and has variety of themes and customization support .

Note - This Rom cannot be used for daily purpose , This Roms only Boots and nothing works ! I am not asking anybody to test the rom or to install it . The Rom is just posted because many users was asking about it .

This Roms is full of bugs , Nothing works properly . The rom will not brick your phone . Hence you can just test it , if you want to solve the bugs present in it !

How to install MIUI 5 On Samsung Galaxy Core duos I8262 -

Your Phone must be rooted to install the rom , if you have not rooted it , Follow - Rooting Guide For Samsung Galaxy Core ( I8262 / 8260 )

Step 1.Download The Rom and Place it in root of your Storage



Step 2.Go Into Custom Recovery mode ( Follow - How to install TWRP / CWM recovery )

Step 3.Wipe data

Step 4.Wipe cache

Step 5.Install zip from sd card

Step 6.Choose MIUI 5 Rom

Asus Zenfone 2 comes with Intel Atom chipset , so a developer tried to Install Windows 7 on Asus Zenfone 2 and "wow" it works like charm ! We know that Asus make Laptop also , but never thought that Asus phones can also run windows .

Now Motorola is finally rolling Android 5.1 Lollipop update for AT&T's Moto X 1st generation ( Moto X 2013 ) .

The software version is 222.26.1 and apart from it Moto X users will get few pre-installed apps update like - Motorola Assist and Migrate, NFC, and enhancements to Active notifications, SmartBoost, MotoCare .



You can update your Moto X by following the below procedure 

Step 1. Your Phone should be on Unlocked Bootloader and Stock Official 5.0.2 firmware to receive the update .



Step 2. Reboot your AT&T's Moto X 1st generation .

Step 3. Go to Settings > About device and Software update .

Step 4. Now follow the steps and Install Android 5.1 OTA update .

Motorola Moto G 3rd Generation will feature 13 MP rear and 5 MP front camera with 1080p video recording capability while The 2nd Generation Moto G features 8 MP rear and 2 MP front camera with 720p video recording capability .

So , there is no doubt that Moto G 3rd Generation is a winner over Moto G 2nd Generation .

Hence Android 5.0.2 Lollipop is officially announced for Moto G 2nd Generation but MIUI 6 Rom seems has different taste , More over it is based on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat .

Motorola Xoom was launched in Feb 2011 with Android 3.0 Honeycomb and was up gradable officially to Android 4.0.4 by Motorola .

Since it only Got last 4.0.4 update by Motorola and everone wants to be on new Android 5.0 Lollipop version , so Schischu made a Android 5.1.1 Lollipop based Custom Rom for Motorola Xoom .

The Custom Rom is currently in Alpha stage ! It cannot be used for daily use , still you can install it following the below steps .

How to Update Motorola Xoom to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop by OmniRom -

Step 1. Download the Rom from below .

Step 2. Boot to custom recovery mode and wipe dalvik cache , cache , system and data .

Micromax Unite 2 , the most popular low priced Micromax Phone has got Official Android 5.0.2 Lollipop by Micromax . But Micromax has no plans to update it to Android 5.1.1 .

Since Micromax Unite 2 A106 is most popular low priced device , so it has full developer support and finally a developer ( Vijay Jeswal ) has ported Cyanogenmod 12 i.e based on Android 5.0.2 with advance features .



The Custom Rom has few bugs which includes - GPS , FM radio , USSD , Apps force close etc . Cyanogenmod 12.0.2 comes with many new features and has less bugs than Official Android 5.0.2 lollipop .

Motorola is finally testing Android 5.1 Lollipop for Verzion Moto X . Motorola hast started rolling the update via OTA , only those who have registered for Soak Test will get the update . Else Remaining users will get the update after the Soak Test is completed .

The new software version is 22.21.11 , weighing in at 500MB, for users of Verzion Moto X . According to the information 30-40 peoples have received the update till now .

Saurabh Sinha a Moto E user has successfully captured the OTA update link and users can manually update Moto E 1st generation to Android 5.1 Lollipop .

How to update Moto E 1st generation to Android 5.1 Lollipop -


Note - You might find difficulty in Installing Update , As you need to follow exact procedure of updates ( 4.4.4 > 5.0.2 > 5.1.1 ) ! If you find any difficulty - Follow XDA Thread of 5.1 Lollipop .

Step 1. Download Lollipop Soak test zip and Rename it to " Blur_Version.23.21.34.condor_retaildsds.retaildsdsall.en.03 " .

Step 2. Place Lollipop Soak test zip into Your Internal as well as External Memory card .

Step 3. Reboot your Motorola Moto E once .

Step 4. Go to Settings > About device and System Update and check for Update .

Step 5. Your device will start Downloading Lollipop update and it will reboot automatically and Lollipop Update Installation will start .

Note - It will take some time to boot . 


Update - Those who are on kitkat ! First Install 341 mb ( 1st Update ) then > 13 mb ( 2nd update ) > 291 mb ( 5.1 update ) .
