[AOSP] How to Install Android Marshmallow 6.0 on LG Optimus G

Android Marshmallow is now official and Its only available for Few devices officially . Android 6.0 Marshmallow Sources are out so developers can easily make Marshmallow Roms for the compatible devices .

Now you can unofficially update LG Optimus G ( E975/F180X ) to Android 6.0 Marshmallow ( AOSP ) . Thanks to DevSwift1 ( XDA developer ) For making 6.0 Marshmallow for LG Optimus G .

This Rom has some bugs so it is not suitable for daily use , so however you can flash this custom rom on LG Optimus G for testing Android 6.0 Marshmallow .

Now Android One Devices are getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow update through OTA . The OTA update is of 337.9 mb ( 338.1 in some models ) and will update your Android One device to Marshmallow .



Currently Indian Android One Smartphone Spice dream uno has received Android 6.0 Marshmallow update .

The update is rolling out in Phases , so you might not able to get the update !

LG G3 and G4 are officially announced to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow . LG G2 which was launched with Android Jelly bea is now spotted running Android 6.0 Marshmallow in GeekBench 3 .

May be LG is finally testing Android 6.0 Marshmallow on LG G2 , and it will be officially available soon !

Yesterday on Motorola revealed the list of Moto Smartphones that will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow .

Motorola Didn't listed Moto E 2nd Generation between the devices that will get Marshmallow . Moto E 2nd generation was released on Feb 2015 , and its not even one complete year ! 



But its not Motorola's fault , they already said that ( In their Moto E 2015 promo video )  Moto E 2nd Generation will receive at least one Android Update after Android 5.0 Lollipop  , And they have updated it to Android 5.1.1 ! Tats it !

So , No Marshmallow update for Moto E 2015 !

HTC to launch its first Marshmallow Device on 20 October

After Google launched Nexus 5x and Nexus 6P with Android 6.0 Marshmallow , HTC is all ready to announce a device with Android Marshmallow too .



The event is on 20 October and HTC will introduce a new Smartphone running on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with Sense 7 UI .

The Device is not known yet , but according to HTC something big is coming on 20th October . HTC will also introduce new Sense 7 UI .

The event will be held in New York, London, New Delhi, and Taipei , The rumors also suggest that the new Smartphone which will run Android Marshmallow will be HTC One A9 .

Cyanogenmod has not officially revealed , when its going to Announce the new Cyanogenmod 13 . But According to Calculations , the release date of Cm13 will be - November 2015 and final build will be released around April 2016 .

Some of the Popular devices will officially get Cyanogenmod 13 , just after release . While other Devices will get Cyanogenmod 13 when their developers will Build it from source .
