Save the date: Nokia to announce upcoming Android phones on February 26th

Few days ago, HMD made Nokia 6 official! The device is China exclusive and there's no Official statement on whether this device will come outside China or not!

However, Nokia has something for global markets, which the company will announce on February 26, a day before Mobile World Congress officially kicks off in Barcelona.




It is likely that Nokia will announce some new Android Smartphones and we'll hear more about the company's plans for global markets at the event.

Nokia is back to Android world! Few days ago, HMD silently announced its first Nokia-Branded Budget Android Smartphone named Nokia 6.

The Nokia 6 is not a wow Smartphone, but the game not over yet! As per earlier reports, Nokia will be announcing 6 to 7 Smartphones including 2-3 budget-segment and other high-end Phones. 



Recently, Nokia filed trademark for "Viki", the name of its upcoming AI assistant, that will be used in upcoming high-end Nokia Smartphones. 

'Software for the creation and monitoring of mobile and web digital asssistants working with knowledge and combining all data sources into a single chat and voice based interface.'

Moto G5 Plus full LEAK! Specs and pictures!

We told you it wasn't the Moto X last week, and now it's officially confirmed as the next Moto G successor! The new Moto G5 Plus has leaked in all its glory. Take a look.

OLX Rumania listed this prototype in which you can clearly read "Motorola Confidential Property: Not for Sale". But the seller didn't care and already listed it leaking all its specs and showing the device from all its angles.

This phone leaked last November and has been leaking ever since. It even passed through the FCC, revealing its model number (XT1685).

Samsung aiming to sell 60 million Galaxy S8 units this year

Over the past couple of days, leaks of the "Samsung Galaxy S8" have made various appearances, first as just rumor of Samsung going all bezel-less with the S8 and then as few speculated Pictures.

According to New reports out from South Korea, Samsung is aiming to sell over 60 million Galaxy S8 units in 2017.



“The tech giant has requested its partners to supply (parts) based on the tech giant’s 60 million shipment goal,” an industry source told The Investor.

Looking back to the past, the shipment numbers for some of the recent Galaxy S flagships are as follows:  S3 (65 million), S4 (70 million), S5 (45 million), S6 (45 million) and S7 (48 million).

CES 2017: the new Motorola Cristofer Connect Smart Speaker

With the storm of Nokia news yesterday, our tour through the Motorola Home booth at CES kind of went unnoticed. We want to revisit one particular product that was introduced in Vegas this week.

The new Cristofer Connect is part of the Motorola Signature Series, a collection of smart speakers inspired by iconic Motorola designs. We were shocked to see this new device comes with the 1940s version of the Motorola logo, used on televisions and home radios.

The new device has a retro-wooden-look and it's got the following specs:

• Wi-Fi
• Bluetooth connectivity
• 2 x 10-watt audio
• Powered by Hubble Cloud app (Android and iOS)
• Compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon's Alexa
• OTA software updates

We expect it to be available during the second quarter and it will be found at motorolahome.com and Amazon.

HTC is expected to unveil HTC Ocean next week i.e. on January 12. But this new devices wearing the Vive brand is completely new to us and we have no idea when HTC will announce it.



The below video shows couple of customized cases that that the company is likely to introduce next week, but there's a catch, the video also shows an odd HTC Vive-branded Smartphone.

Nokia officially introduces the Android-Powered Nokia 6

Drumroll, please... The new Nokia 6 is official! HMD just introduced the newest Nokia smartphone and the first Nokia-branded phone in two years after Microsoft announced it would stop using the iconic brand.

The new phone will be available in China for around $230 and it comes with the latest Android version with Nokia's UI on top. The phone features a 5.5" 1080p screen with Gorilla Glass, classic Nokia design and an impressive audio quality according to HMD.

The phone comes with an aluminum unibody and runs on a Snapdragon 430 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. Its camera should follow the Nokia trend and impress everyone. It's 16MP with an 8MP front shooter.

The phone will be available on the first half of the year.

Motorola at CES 2017: Smart Home, new headphones & Alexa-compatible speakers

Many new Motorola products were announced at CES 2017. Under Binatone's ownership, the Motorola Home and Accessories divisions launched some exciting connected products.

Now, these products weren't shown at Lenovo's booth, but at the Hubble Connected booth instead, which sadly got very little press coverage. However, Phillis Chan from BigAppleBuddy took some shots of the new products for the Motorola community. Take a look:

Google Pixel 2: What Features to Expect

Last year, Google gave us the first two Pixel Smartphones i.e. Pixel with 5" Display and Pixel XL with 5.5" Display, with some extra Artificial intelligence in the form of the fledgling Google Assistant. 

Both Google Pixel and Pixel XL were great devices but things like water resistance and an orignal design were left out because they ran out of time.

For 2017, Google has already decided and is all set to really show their vision for the highest-end Android phones. 

Here are Some expected features of Google Pixel 2nd Generation (AKA Google Pixel 2017) -

Snapdragon 835 processor - Qualcomm has already announced it's top-tier mobile processor which will be powering flagship devices this year including the Note 8, S8 and 2017 Google Pixel Devices.

Dual Camera - Google Pixel and Pixel XL are probably the best Camera Smartphones of the year 2016. In 2017 Google might implement dual-camera setup to make Google Pixel 2nd Generation the best Camera smartphone.

QHD Display - Google might upgrade the Pixel smartphone display from 1080 x 1920p to 1440 x 2560p, making the display at level with the Pixel XL.



Water Resistant - 2016 Google Pixel were not Water resistant, but in 2017 Google wants your phone to be there for you, even in less-than-ideal conditions. Water resistant feature will keep your Google Pixel phone safe from splashes and drops in water.

Nokia E1 specs leaked online, Android Nougat and Snapdragon 425

Nokia is finally all set to make a come back this Year with New Android Smartphones and Tablets. The new Nokia Smartphones are tipped to get revealed in early 2017.

Latest rumor claims that the Entry-level Nokia E1 could come with 5.2 / 5.3-inch HD display. It will be powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with an Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM | 16GB ROM.



As far as the cameras are concerned, expect a 13 MP rear camera and 5 MP Selfie shooter. The Smartphone is likely to come with Google's latest Android 7.0 Nougat.

New Smart glasses for the Moto Z?

Apparently, a new MotoMod (sort of) has been shown at CES 2017. It's called the Lenovo New Glass C200 and it's a smart glasses setup similar to Google Glass. 

The original source is in Chinese so it's tough to translate what it says, but what we do know is that after attaching the C200 to a Moto Z smartphone, you'll need its dedicated app to use its features and set it up. This won't be a consumer device, though. It will help industry workers work more efficiently through AR.

As you can see from the pics, the device comes with its own camera, allowing you to see what the device sees on your Moto Z.

Three new Motorola products coming at CES

Motorola Accessories division, owned by Binatone, is set to announce new devices at CES 2017. In a new image leaked by Motorola Fans official Twitter, three wearables are shown.

The first one is the VerveLoop Sports, a device that will cost half the price of the original VerveLoop+ and comes in a new design while still keeping its water resistance. Audio drivers have also been improved.

The second device shown is the Motorola Dash Cam, a smart tiny camera that will cost under $100. It comes with night-vision, 1080p video recording, 120° wide angle viewing and a 2.7" screen on the other side of the device. 

The third device shown is the new VerveOnes Music Edition. It's the follow-up to last year's award-winning VerveOnes+ and comes with a revamped designed, new colors, for half the price of the original one while still keeping its water resistance. Is This Our First Look at the Samsung Galaxy S8?

Now, real life Image of the Korean giant’s next major handset have found their way onto Weibo, giving us our best and first look at it so far.

For now we have no idea, whether this leaked Image is real or not, but a closer look at the Image shouts "No home button" and a front Samsung logo.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S8 at Mobile World Congress 2017 in February. 



Earlier rumors also says that Samsung Galaxy S8 will be powered by Snapdragon 835 processor which comes with Quick Charge 4.0.
