Moto E 2nd Gen with 4G started getting Android Marshmallow update in India

A month back Motorola started soak test of Marshmallow update for Moto E 2nd Generation with 4G LTE and now the update is officially rolling out for all users of Moto E2 4G .

The new update is of 453.9 MB with a new version 24.51.39.en.03 . The new update has a latest security patch level of 1 February 2016 .

As Motorola said earlier that they will only update Moto E 2nd Generation 4G ( surnia ) , so the 3G Model ( otus ) will not get Marshmallow update .

You can update your Moto E 2nd Generation LTE to Marshmallow by checking the update from Settings > About phone > software update .

Moto G 2nd Gen started getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update in India

Few days back only Motorola released release notes of Android 6.0 Marshmallow for Moto G 2nd Generation . Now Moto G 2nd Generation users have started getting Android Marshmallow update on their Devices .

The update is of 464.2 MB and New system version is 24.41.34en.03 . 

Your Moto G 2nd Generation should be on Stock Android 5.0.2 in order to receive update . To get the update , just reboot your device and Check the update from Settings > About device > software update .

Previously , Amazon Started selling Motorola Moto E and Moto 360 Devices in India . Today , Amazon has finally announced that they will be selling Moto G 3rd Generation and Moto G turbo edition in India .

The pricing will be same , Moto G 3rd Generation will be available at INR 10,999 for 16GB model and Moto G Turbo Edition is available at INR 12,499 .

Amazon India also offers 10 days free replacement on mobile phones , if you get a defective piece or you want other smartphone etc !

Moto X 2016 to come with a fingerprint scanner and a heat pipe for cooling

The rumor and leaks mill of 2016 Moto Devices has already started , we have already got many leaked images of new Moto Devices ( though the images was not clear ) .

So , New Moto X 2016 will be coming with a metal body and a fingerprint scanner at the front . As the image of Moto X 2016 was leaked earlier , showing metal body and a big camera followed by a Moto Logo .

This Moto X 2016 will come with a fingerprint sensor and a heat pipe for cooling the Smartphone . It will also prevent thermal problems .

The device will come with Snapdragon 820 , so heating will be normal . 

Heat pipe is not a new feature , Lumia 950 XL Microsoft and Sony Xperia Z5 Premium adopted a similar measure to control overheating in the Snapdragon 810 .

The maroon / red color circle is of fingerprint sensor , that will be added to Moto X 2016 . After all the device is still in development !

Motorola Moto X Force comes with a 5.4 inch shatter proof display , It has a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels . The smartphone also features 5 megapixel front and 21 megapixel rear camera .

Other specifications on the handset include an Snapdragon 810 processor and 3GB of RAM, the device also comes with 32GB of storage and a microSD card slot , The device is powered with 3760 mAh battery .

[Android 6.0 Marshmallow] How to enable hidden chat / call feature on Motorola Help App

 Motorola has already started rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Moto Devices and many of them already got the update . 


Motorola has done many changes in Android 6.0 Marshmallow , they have removed Motorola Migrate , Motorola Connect , Chat and Call feature from Moto Help Application and more .


Motorola Chat / Call feature on Help application enables user to chat to Motorola Customer Care and ask your queries to get a solution . But Motorola Removed that feature in Android 6.0 Update .

Although you can still enable Chat and Call feature on Motorola Help application , by a simple trick !

Open Setiings > Storage & USB > Internal storage > Apps and there you will find Help application !

Just Open it and Clear data and Clear cache !

Now the hidden feature is no more hidden ! But you will have to do the above steps every time you Open help application , in order to chat with customer care !

2016 Moto G and Moto X in Works : Alleged images leaked

As Lenovo CEO Yuanqing Yang Revealed earlier that new Lenovo Motorola Moto Devices will be coming this July , they also added that the new device will be more attractive and innovative than previous Moto Devices .

So , Lenovo will be launching several Moto Devices which will probably include 2016 Moto X and Moto G .

New leaked images by hellomotohk (fb ) reveals that Lenovo is finally working on new Moto Devices and here are some images -

It probably seems to be 2016 Moto X , the Moto logo is slightly visible . The design of the Smartphone is slim and sleek , it has metal body ( Looks More like iPhone ) .

May be this is Moto G 2016 , seems plastic body with different colors !

Shells will be available to buy along with 2016 Moto Smartphones and Lenovo logo will be at the below Back end of the Smartphone ( See the shell ) .

How to Move Apps to External Sd card on Android 6.0 Marshmallow

How to Move Apps to External Sd card on Android 6.0 Marshmallow

Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with many new features over Android 5.x Lollipop . Although Marshmallow UI is somewhat complicated in comparison to other Android versions .



Due to shortage of storage , many users prefers moving applications to External sd card and Marshmallow allows you to do the same . 

Here's a Guide on How to Move Apps to External Sd card on Android 6.0 Marshmallow -



Note - This will format your External Sd card to first take a backup of it before moving ahead !

Step 1. Go to Settings and under device section open Storage & USB .

Step 2. Now in Storage & USB , in Portable Storage section open your Sd card .

Step 3. Press three dots and select Settings .

Step 4. Now in Settings menu , Press Format as internal .

Step 5. This will format your External Sd card .

Just Eject and Re-mount your External Sdcard to set it up !

Now its time to move the applications !

Step 6. Again Go to Storage & USB and Select Internal Storage .

Step 7. Select Apps .

Step 8. Choose the application you want to move ! I will choose Marvel Champions !

Step 9. Now under Storage used , select Change!

Step 10. Choose the external storage , ( Mine is Samsung SD card ) .

Select "Move" and the application will be moved to External storage !

Use the same procedure ( from step 7 ) for other applications ! This method will work on all the devices running Android 6.0 Marshmallow .

"Motorola" the brand which invented first Mobile Phone . From flip-phone to shatterproof-smartphone , Motorola just made many things possible with their innovative ideas !

Well , As we know the name just phased out by Lenovo! Motorola is left only with "Moto" , the product that will be now called Lenovo Moto ( e.g. Lenovo Moto X force ) .

Motorola have just changed their official twitter account names to just "Moto" , the brand name is just diluted into a product ! Few Motorola twitter account names are still not changed ( but will be changed in few days ) !

We never thought that this would END that way !

When it comes to budget Smartphones , no one does it better than Motorola . From Last three years , The Moto G's are making their place inside many of our's pocket !

Moto G 3rd Gen was one of the best budget Smartphone of 2015 . Although Moto G 2015 was slightly similar to Moto G 2014 , But Moto G 2015 was better than all the Moto G's !

An Interview by teleanalysis with Rachna Lather, ( Marketing Head- Motorola Mobility ) says that -

 They year 2015 was tremendously successful and we witnessed various product innovations across the smartphone business .

Along with it she said -

Moto G (3rd Gen) has been a phenomena and it broke all the sales records in this price tier. It’s sales were up by 140% in comparison to the first gen & 40% better than the second gen. It is the highest selling smartphone in that price bracket and fastest selling smartphone on Flipkart! Report:Google to Take Full Control over Nexus Phones

Google is now going to take "Apple-like" approach over Designing and Building next Nexus Smartphones , Previously Nexus device was a co-branded partnership between Google's Android Team and OEM's .



Report says that Google will be having full control over Hardware design as well as Software updates ( 100% Google ) , i.e The device will be manufactured by Google only .

According to Report -

Google CEO Sundar Pichai and his lieutenants have signaled to colleagues and outsiders that the company wants to take greater control over its program for making “Nexus” smartphones, which are powered by Google’s Android software.

Previously leaked information suggest that HTC will make 2016 nexus Smartphone , May be it will but that will be the Last Nexus Smartphone from other Company !
