Galaxy Note Fan Edition vs Galaxy Note 7: 3 key differences
The Galaxy Note Fan Edition is now official with Bixby Assistant and a brand new battery that might prevent fires and explosions. The Galaxy Note FE is exactly a carbon copy of the Galaxy Note 7 with few upgrades and downgrades. In this article we will talk about Key differences that you will find in Galaxy Note FE and the Galaxy Note 7.

Bixby Assistant: The Samsung Galaxy Note Fan Edition comes with Samsung's own new Bixby Assistant, which was launched along with the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus. However, the Note FE doesn't feature Bixby button. The Note 7 on-the-other-hand came with Samsung's old Touchwiz. You also get 'Bixbee Home' and 'Bixbee Reminder' along with the Note FE.

Battery: We all know that the Note 7 fiasco was caused due to faulty batteries, but now Samsung has downgraded the battery from 3,500mAh to 3,200mAh after implementing the 8 - point battery safety test.

There were some rumors online saying that Samsung will release the Galaxy Note 7 again to market with a smaller battery. Now, the Refurbished Samsung Galaxy Note 7 just got the Wi-Fi certification, confirming it's resurrection. The SM-N930-models are the variations of the refurbished Galaxy Note 7 that is expected to be launched in June.

As rumored earlier, the phone will come with a smaller 3200mAh battery and Android 7.0 Nougat OS.

Note series is not dead, Samsung to release Galaxy Note 8 in the second half of 2017

According to latest rumor, Samsung will not ditch its Note series. Moreover, the South Korean giant is planning to release the Galaxy Note 8 later this year.

A Samsung executive stated that the company will release Galaxy Note 8 in the second half, following the Galaxy S8 and S8 edge that’s set to be released in April.

The Galaxy Note 7 was very popular before user reports began circulating about devices that exploded or caught on fire while charging. As the phablet market, which was developed by Samsung Electronics, has been growing, the company will release the Note series this year again.

Samsung will introduce 2K resolution displays in the Galaxy S8, but it will use 4K resolution displays in the Galaxy Note 8 to realize improved virtual reality (VR) functions. I heard that it will connect with new Gear VR wearable.
