OnePlus reveals schedule for Marshmallow Update

OnePlus Staff member has shared the plans and schedule of Updating OnePlus One , Two and X to Android Marshmallow over the OnePlus forums .



OnePlus One and OnePlus Two will get Marshmallow update in 1st Quarter of 2016  . With the new update OnePlus Two users will be able to to use the default Google API for the fingerprint scanner .



While OnePlus X will get Marshmallow , but after OnePlus One and Two . Accordingly OnePlus X will get update in 2nd Quarter of 2016 .

Samsung Revealed OTA RoadMap for Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update

Samsung Smartphones are soon going to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow update . If you own a Samsung Smartphone then you can discover whether and when your device will get Official Marshmallow update .

There are two phases of the RoadMap . In First Phase Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note 5 will get update to Official Marshmallow next Month , while s6 , s6 edge , note 4 and note edge will get update next year ( Jan - Feb ) . While Samsung Galaxy S5 and Samsung Galaxy Alpha, are awaiting technical approval.

The Second Phase includes Samsung Galaxy A8, Samsung Galaxy A7, Samsung Galaxy A5, Samsung Galaxy A3, Samsung Galaxy E7 and Samsung Galaxy E5 . The devices in second phases are awaiting approval .

If your Smartphone is not in the list than you should wait for Phase 3 Roadmap .

Motorola is finally rolling out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to Moto X Style ( AKA Moto X 2015 , Moto X 3rd Gen ) and Moto X 2nd gen ( AKA Moto X 2014 ) .



For now Moto X Style and Moto X 2nd Gen will get Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade for the following devices and channels -

• 2015 Moto X Style (3rd Gen) in both Brazil and India retail

• 2014 Moto X (2nd Gen) in Brazil retail

Official Cyanogenmod 13 will be available by Xmas

Cyanogen has finally revealed the date for Official Cyanogenmod 13 that will be based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow .



According to a tweet by @Cyanogenmod , Cyanogenmod 13 ( Cm13 ) official builds will be available by end of this December .

Micromax YU yureka , a very popular Smartphone in India , It came with 4.4.4 kitkat , but YU has recently updated Yureka to Official 5.1.1 Cyanogen os 12.1 ( But it has lot of bugs ) .



But Now its time to update your Yureka to Some sweetest Android update , That is Marshmallow . This rom is based on Cyanogenmod 13 , which is Android 6.0 Marshmallow .



Thanks to Santhosh M ( senior Xda developer ) for porting Unofficial Android 6.0 Marshmallow Cm13 for YU Yureka . 

Although this rom has only few bugs - No Data connection and few common bugs .
