Motorola India is announcing the Motorola One Power on September 24

Motorola India confirmed via Teaser that they are indeed going to announce new 2018 Motorola Smartphone on September 24. Motorola will be announcing the Android One Powered Motorola One Power at the event.

In terms of specifications, the Motorola One Power features 6.2-inch FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch. It runs Snapdragon 636 and holds 64GB of expandable storage. There's a huge 5,000 mAh battery inside.

Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus Launch in 2019, No G7 Play!

Earlier this month, we saw the hands on images of the Motorola Moto G7 intends to feature a Waterdrop Display. Now, a new report from MySmartPrice, states that Motorola will unveil the new Moto G Smartphones in 2019.

According to them, the Moto G7 series will include the Moto G7 (Standard) and the Moto G7 Plus. There won't be any Moto G7 Play. This year's Moto G6 Play and Moto E5 Plus were nearly identical, maybe that's why Motorola plans to skip the G7 Play in favor of the E6 Plus.

As seen in the earlier leaks, the Moto G7 will have almost zero sized bezels on either sides. Also, the phone would feature a Waterdrop Notch which can be found in Oppo F9 Pro. Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 picking up September Security Update

If you own a Nokia 6 or Nokia 5 you should have received the over-the-air update notification for September 1st, 2018 Android security update. That’s all that is detailed in the new software for both of these phones.

The Software for the Nokia 6 (TA-1021) weighs in at around 104MB, while the Nokia 5 (TA-1053) gets it for 98.7MB.

If you haven't got the notification of this new software update yet, Just go to Settings - About Phone - Software updates, and It will automatically start downloading the latest update. The update will take around 10-15 minutes to get Installed on your device. We will let you know once the update is out for other countries.

Update: Motorola has started rolling out Oreo for the Moto G5 Plus and Moto G5s Plus.

Motorola Moto G5s Plus and Moto G5 Plus owners can expect to see the Android 8.1 Oreo begin its official rollout for their devices in a few days.

Motorola is sending out notifications regarding the availability of Android 8.1 Oreo update to the Moto G5s Plus and Moto G5 Plus users living in Brazil. If you own a G5s Plus or G5 Plus you should have received the notification with an image revealing Motorola's plan.

We've seen the update coming through both the G5 Plus in Brazil (RETBR). Android 8.1 Oreo update includes new Settings and Notification panel UI, Picture in Picture (PIP), Adaptive icons, Autofill, Notification timeout, and other Oreo goodies.

Keep checking the Software update section, Just go to Settings - About Phone - Software updates, and It will automatically start downloading the latest update when available. The update will take around 10-15 minutes to get Installed on your device.

Midnight Black OnePlus 6T Looks Gorgeous

After seeing last month's OnePlus 6T leak that potentially revealed the design of OnePlus's new flagship for 2018, the concept makers have been busy getting their takes ready. Reddit user has come up with an exciting new concept of the OnePlus 6T.

The phone’s fingerprint scanner is placed on the back, more like the OnePlus 6. It has a triple camera setup at the rear. If you take a closer look at the phone’s front, you’ll also notice that it has tiny Waterdrop notch, which stores the front-facing camera and some sensors.

The phone they detail features a 19:9 6.3-inch Full HD+ (2280×1080) AMOLED display, 6/8GB of RAM, Snapdragon 845, and other miscellaneous top tier specs.

We are now seeing September 2018 Security Patch release notes for the Moto G5, Moto X4, Moto E4, and Moto Z2 Force. We have yet too find info for the Moto G4 series, though it seems they have reached their EOL, atleast for the Security Patches.

Motorola Sending Soak Test Invites for Moto G4 Plus, Could Potentially be Android 8.1 Oreo

With Motorola starting that the Moto G4 Plus is in the list of Smartphones getting Official Oreo, it appears that they're ready to start testing the same. Soak test invites are rolling out to members of the Motorola Feedback Forum who own Moto G4 Plus devices, so this could be it.

Android 8.1 Oreo comes with numerous enhancements over Android 8.0 Oreo, such as new dark and light themes which changes according to wallpaper, Pixel 2 Launcher, Redesigned Power Menu, new Shutdown and Reboot Animation, Round Statusbar Icons, and Setting. Motorola might also add several new features to the latest software update.

I've been using Xiaomi POCO F1 for a couple of days now and have found that it's going to take 675 hours for my device to get Bootloader Unlocked. Searching further about this issue, I found that the Situation is even worse, a few Pocophone users are seeing waiting times as long as 1440 hours.

So if you are planning to purchase the "Developer Friendly" POCO F1, you might face Bootloader Unlock waiting times as long as 2 months.

Wait, MIUI 10 Global is available for the POCO F1, However, you'll need an Unlocked Bootloader in order to test the latest ROM. LOL!

Moto G5s Plus Finally Receiving Its Oreo Update in Brazil

Now that Google has released the next version of Android, Android 9.0 Pie, the wait for the devices to get the update first has already started. Motorola today announced the list of its devices that will officially get the update and this list includes the devices that have been released by the company in the recent times as well as it also includes some devices that have been a little older.

OnePlus is testing a gorgeous new user interface for OnePlus 6

Just a few weeks back OnePlus started testing out the new OxygenOS Beta for the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T with brand new gorgeous user interface.

With this new UI, OnePlus aims to provide "Flat & Minimal, Reduction, Bold & Clean​" user experience.

The Good Part is, this new UI is coming soon for the OnePlus 6 users. OnePlus Staff Member Officially confirmed that the OnePlus 6 will be getting the new User Interface changes. However, he didn't mentioned "When" or "How" they're planning to roll it out.

5th Soak Test for Moto G5s Plus Now Taking Place, Official Oreo expected September 2nd week

Still waiting for the Android Oreo update for your Moto G5 Series phone? All we know at this point is that, yes, Motorola is testing Oreo on Moto G5s Plus, Moto G5 Plus and their non-plus models. The company isn’t providing a timetable like it did earlier this year, though. That’s likely because it doesn’t want to give false hope and disappointment to their customers.

Now, Motorola is rolling out another update for the Moto G5s Plus running Android 8.1 Oreo Soak test. This latest software update features build no. of OPS28.65-36 for the G5s Plus. Note that this is the 5th Soak test Oreo 8.1 Update the G5s Plus is getting. The update brings Stability Improvements, Bug Fixes, and enhancements.

New OnePlus 6T Confirmed by Russian Certification

OnePlus is widely expected to unveil the OnePlus 6T on October 2018. Today, Russian Certification confirmed the OnePlus's upcoming Android flagship, the OnePlus 6T. The EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission) listing also confirms the Model number of 6T as A6013.

OnePlus 6T is expected to feature a Waterdrop Display just like recently announced Oppo and Vivo Smartphone. Will be powered by Snapdragon 845 CPU, 6/8GB of RAM, 64/128/256GB of Internal Storage and other high-end Specs.

Recently Cnet reported that OnePlus is working exclusively with T-Mobile for the US variant of OnePlus 6T. The company plans to announce this new Smartphone later in October at a price tag starting $550.
