Asus finally announced official Android 5.0 Lollipop for Asus Zenfone . Asus is updating Asus Zenfone 4 , 5, 6 to Android 5.0 Lollipop .



Many of Asus users have received the update via OTA , but many of the users are still not receiving update . Asus Zenfone 5 users can update their smartphones manually to official Android 5.0 Lollipop update by following this procedure .

How to update Asus Zenfone 5 to Lollipop manually -



Step 1. First you need to download bridge firmware to update your Asus Zenfone 5 to version  2.22.40.53 . Download it from below , If you are already on bridge firmware then follow directly from Step 6 to update your zenfone 5 to Android Lollipop .

Step 2. Save the above downloaded bridge firmware to internal sdcard .

Step 3. Restart your Smartphone .

Step 4. After starting you will get a pop up box of Update , Click on ok .

Step 5. Now your Phone will be updated to bridge firmware  2.22.40.53 .

Step 6. Now we will update Asus zenfone 5 to Android 5.0 Lollipop .

Step 7. Download the Android 5.0 Lollipop firmware for Asus zenfone 5 from below .

Step 8. Save the above downloaded bridge firmware to internal sdcard .



Step 9. Restart your Smartphone .

Step 10. After starting you will get a pop up box of Update , Click on ok .

Step 11. Now your Phone will be updated to Official Android 5.0 Lollipop 3.23.40.52 firmware .

Motorola has not updated their most sold device ( Motorola Droid Turbo ) to Android 5.0 Lollipop , But soon it will get updated to Android 5.1 .



Motorola Droid Turbo will be soon receiving Android 5.1 Lollipop directly in Mid-June . According to Verizon test engineer , Lollipop update is in testing phase for Droid Turbo and will be available in mid-june via OTA update .

Although the Engineer got in trouble after reveling the Update schedule , But its ok as Finally Droid Turbo users are assure that the update is coming .

How to Solve Samsung Galaxy S4 I9500 Heating issue

Recently I bought Samsung Galaxy S4 and felt that the device is too much heating , I immediately returned it to Amazon . Although Samsung Galaxy S4 has amazing specs and an amazing camera . Overall Its an nice phone and is up gradable to Android Lollipop and has tons of Custom Roms and Developer support !

Samsung Galaxy S4 : TechDroider

Samsung Galaxy S4 normally heats too much as compared to other Smartphones ,.As the Heating issue will continue , but we can minimize the heating problem by following these points .

• Close Reading mode and Smart scroll mode , if you are not using it .

• Open Developer option and Off All the animations .

• Open Quick Settings and Close all the Smart features including Smart Stay , Smart pause , Air gesture , Air view etc .

• Go to Settings > LED indicator and deselect All of them .

• Remove all the unwanted Widgets from your Home Screen .

• Other - Uninstall Unwanted apps , Remove bloatware by rooting your Samsung Galaxy S4 ( search on google ) , Clear cache , Use clean master ( It really works ) . 

Following This your Samsung Galaxy S4 will stop getting overheated ( hence heating will persist ) . Your Device temperature as well as Cpu Temperature will go down .
