GIF Shows the Multi SIM Moto Mod in Action

2016 marked the year for modular smartphones with LG and Motorola starting the trend. But Motorola took the game to an entirely new level with the Moto Mods concept. The best part of the project is that the company is allowing third-party vendors to develop the mods.

There are already some innovative Moto Mods released, and some are in the works. Recently, a Moto Mod leaked suggested a qwerty keyboard addition to the phone, and now a GIF shows an impressive Moto Mod.

The concept is that the Mod allows you to use four SIM cards along with the default SIM card tray that comes with the phone. Nevertheless, the GIF just shows that we can use four SIM cards on the phone, but haven't leaked any info about the implementation though.

There are several other Moto Mods, which will be releasing in coming weeks, but this one surely is an interesting one to watch out.

Motorola Pushes the Bug Fixing Update for Verizon Moto G5 Plus Users that Fixes the Annoying 911 Call Issue

Motorola Pushes the Bug Fixing Update for Verizon Moto G5 Plus Users that Fixes the Annoying 911 Call Issue
A few days ago, we reported that the users of Moto G5 Plus under Verizon network are facing a weird issue that they are not able to call the emergency number 911, which was claimed to be a software issue.

However, Motorola is pushing a bug fixing update for the same, that apparently solves the problem. Motorola also suggests users update the device as soon as they receive the upgrade.

The update only fixes this issue, and it doesn't bring any new features whatsoever. Previously, it was said that the call to 911 was disconnecting due to a critical bug, which annoyed several users on the network.

The update is already rolling out to the users of Verizon Moto G5 Plus from April 21. If you did not receive the update wait for few days or try checking for it manually by heading over to system updates section in the Settings app. Make sure you've at least 50 percent juice left on your phone before updating it.
