Nokia is back !

After so many rumors and anticipation, the Nokia brand will finally be back to phones.

After Microsoft bought the Nokia Mobile Division in 2013, they quickly announced that no more Nokia smartphones would be released, and the new devices were rebranded to Microsoft Lumia. Nokia fans hated this, and Lumia sales started to go down, up to the point in which Microsoft's smartphone market share was non-existent last quarter. 

Yesterday, Microsoft announced that it had sold the Nokia brand for feature phones and some factories to the Foxconn group. Now they will produce new feature phones using the Nokia brand and market them as Nokia phones. At the same time Nokia Technologies signed a deal with HMD global Oy, a company which will now produce smartphones and tablets under the Nokia brand. HMD and Foxconn will also become partners to produce, distribute and market all the phones.

Seems a bit difficult to understand, right? This is a more simple explanation: Microsoft thought its brand was better than the Nokia brand for smartphones, so they killed it from Lumia but kept it for the low end feature phones. After some time their sales went down because people wanted Nokia, not Microsoft Lumia, so instead of admitting they were wrong, they decided to sell the feature phone division and Nokia brand. 

On the other side, when Microsoft bought Nokia Mobile they made a deal in which Nokia couldn't use the brand or make smartphones late 2016. That time has passed now and instead of making the phones themselves, they decided to license the brand and patents to another company. The phones will have the familiar Nokia design and logos, and Nokia will earn money for each phone sold without making it (something similar to what Motorola does with its Bluetooth accessories and Home products).

Motorola is teasing a new RAZR for June 9th?

The king is back and better than ever! Over the last few days, Motorola's Twitter account has been remembering the iconic RAZR phone, and now they just uploaded a video teasing a new RAZR!

Is this "Vector Thin"? Is this the new modular phone? Are we getting a flip smartphone? There are many questions going around, but all we know is that the phone is coming on June 9 at Lenovo Tech World Event. The press release for the event said: "new technology designed by Motorola". The MotoRAZR is still one of the best selling phones of all time. Up to 2012 it had sold 150 million units worldwide according to Motorola. It was the #1 selling phone in the USA from 2004 to 2008, even outselling the original iPhone and iPhone 3G during that period of time.

Motorola brought back the RAZR brand in 2011 with the Droid RAZR and RAZR MAXX phones, which won "Best of CES" at the 2012 CES show. The device was one of the best selling phones in Latin America and the US.

Google has finally revealed their new messaging apps, Allo and Duo . Allo is a texting app that uses your phone number. Duo is a video calling app that also uses your phone number .

Yesterday Motorola and Lenovo announced the Moto G4 , Moto G4 Plus and Moto G4 Play . The Moto G4 and G4 Play will arrive later this summer , but Moto G4 Plus is readily available .

Moto G4 Plus is a overall a great deal , but if you value good value, you could find an even better deal out there. So here are five reasons not to buy a Moto G4 Plus .

1. Overpriced -

The Motorola Moto G4 Plus comes in two variants - 16GB / 2GB at 13,499/- and 32GB / 3GB at 14,999/- . The Smartphone is a bit overpriced as compared to ZUK Z1 which comes in 13,499/- and Redmi Note 3 which comes in 9,999 ( 16GB/2GB ) and 11,999 ( 32GB/3GB ) .

2. No water resistance -

The Motorola Moto G4 Plus has an advanced nano-coating technology that creates a water repellent barrier to help protect against moderate exposure to water such as accidental spills, splashes or light rain. It Not designed to be submersed in water, or exposed to pressurized water, or other liquids like the Moto G3 .

3. Too big -

5.2 is the most preferred size of a Smartphone . The Moto G4 Plus comes with a 5.5 inch FHD Display , that seems to be too big . Big Smartphone's have a great chances to slip from hand and  even get shattered after a drop . 

After-all many People prefer to use 5 inch and 5.2 inch Smartphones .

4. No Notification LED -

There is no way to find out if you’ve missed any incoming calls or message while you had to ignore your phone? Of course, you can enable Moto Display and get pop-up on your screen when you get any notification . But Still Notification LED Plays an important role in bringing your attention towards the Smartphone , if you gets any notification .

5. Heating issue -

According to a Gaming Review with Temp Check of Moto G4 Plus by Geekyranjit , The Temperature of the device goes to 45° in 15 minutes of Gaming .

Though Geekyranjit hadn't noticed any lags while playing Games , but the screen becomes too hot under 15 minutes of Gaming .

How to Unlock Bootloader of Moto G4 Plus ( 2016 )

Like other Motorola Smartphones you can Unlock Moto G 4th Gen Plus Bootloader ( AKA Moto G4 Plus + ) also . Unlocking Bootloader voids warrenty , but still people Unlock Bootloader for Development Purposes .

Note -

We are not responsible for any damage caused to your Smartphone . 

Keep a backup of your data before following the steps , as Unlocking will wipe all your data .

By following this below guide , you can easily unlock your bootloader of Moto G 4th Generation Plus .

How to Unlock Bootloader of Moto G4 Plus ( 2016 ) -

Step 1. Download Minimal ADB and fastboot from below .

Step 2. Download and Install Latest Motorola Drivers from below .

Step 3. Go to Moto G4 Plus Settings > Developer Settings and Select Allow OEM Unlock .

Step 4. Switch off your Motorola Moto G4 Plus and Boot to Fastboot mode by pressing Power + Volume down button at the same time .

Step 5. Now Open Minimal ADB and fastboot ( which you downloaded in step 2 ) on PC and open cmd from there .

Step 6. Connect your Motorola Moto G4 Plus to PC via USB cable .

Step 7. Type This on Cmd   fastboot oem get_unlock_data  .

You will get a String , just copy it and Paste it in a Notepad and remove empty spaces from it .

Step 8. Go to Motorola's website and Log in using your Google / Motorola Id and paste the Copied String on 6th Step .

Step 9. Now complete all the Steps at Motorola's Website and Request unlock key . 

Step 10. You will get an Unlock key at your mail id , just copy it .

Step 11. In Cmd ( which you opened following step 5 ) type -

fastboot devices 

It will check , your device is connected or not , after that type -

fastboot oem unlock "Key" 

Replace "Key" with the Unlock Key , you got on Step 10 .
