Official Marshmallow ( YU-OS )(Beta) Available for YU Yureka/Yureka Plus and Yuphoria

Few days back Micromax founder Rahul Sharma announced YU-OPEN-OS for Yureka/Yureka plus, Yuphoria and Yunique .



This new OS will support all the YU devices and other android devices too and will keep your YU Device updated to latest Android OS .

For now Yureka/Yureka Plus ( tomato ) and Yuphoria ( lettuce ) can now Install Official Marshmallow ( Beta version ) of YU-Open-Os .



You can Download Official Marshmallow ( Beta version [ Test-Build]  ) from YU-Developer site , while Official Stable version will be available in next few days . The Instructions are given on the above website .

YU forced us not to buy their Smartphones again !

Micromax's sub-brand Yu Televentures is all set to launch "YU Yunicorn" on 19th May and I am pretty much sure , many of us will not buy YU smartphones again !



YU Yureka was a great hit and after that Smartphone only Micromax's YU became popular in India . The first impression of the Smartphone was amazing but we were not fully aware of the Smartphone at that time ! 

Though One cannot judge a Smartphone and a company in a single day or two ! But , Now YU has forced many of us not to buy their Smartphones .

1. One of the worst after sales service -

Buying a smartphone is more than just about picking up a phone you liked and making a purchase. A phone may look good on paper, but there's more to a phone than just the paper specs. After-sales is something equally important, if not more.

And Yes ! YU has one of the worst after sales service . I own a Page of Micromax Yureka which was made to help Yureka users , but I was wrong ! When the Company can't support their customers then Who Am I ?

And why we need After sales service ? Because YU Products are made of cheap quality ! 

2. No Android Updates -

I think Google is all set to reveal Android N on 18th May ? Isn't it ? And YU users are still waiting for Marshmallow on their Smartphones ? 

The company has launched only few devices and they can't even handle software updates for these devices even !

Though I understand Marshmallow is a big update , But can't you even provide a patch for the bugs that were present in Android 5.1.1 ?

YU Yureka Note leaked online with 6-inch Display

Seems YU is working on something bigger than a Smartphone and its Yureka Note . So YU is soon going to launch YU Yureka Note with 6-inch Display .

According to the image and specs leaked by Arif Siddique , The device will come with a fingerprint sensor at the back , 3GB RAM , 16GB ROM , Android Lollipop OS .



There will be a dual LED Rear Camera of 13 megapixel and 8 megapixel front camera . The device will come with 4000 mAh battery .

The Device's model no. is YU6000 and will be available at a price of 14,999 /-

Yu Smartphone with 5.2-inch Display, Snapdragon 615, 3GB RAM Leaked Online

Indian Company YU seems to be working on a New Device , Possible YU Yureka Plus successor . The Device was spotted on Zauba ( entering India from China ) as well as on GFXBench ( Showing some hardware and software details ) .

YU Smartphone Concept

According to the import listing , The Device will come with 5.2 inch Display , and 4G connectivity with Dual sim . The Device model number is YU5200 .

While According to GFXBench The Device will be coming with 5.1.1 Lollipop Out of the box . The Device will feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 octa core CPU colcked at 1.6GHz .



The Smartphone will come with 3GB RAM , 16GB internal storage , 12 MP rear and 4.8 MP front camera .

Official Android 5.1.1 Update now available for YU Yuphoria

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is now finally available for YU Yuphoria . The new update will Install Cyanogen OS 12.1 on your Yuphoria Smartphone .



The update is rolling out in phases and will be available to every Yuphoria users soon .

Although Users can manually update Yuphoria to Android 5.1.1 ,  the update zip is available to download , and users can install it without rooting , or unlocking bootloader .

Step 1.Download the update zip from - Here ( Link Updated )

Step 2. Boot to Stock recovery mode .

Step 3. Select Install update zip from Sdcard and flash the zip you downloaded following Step 1.




Note - Cyanogemod 12.1 and Cyanogen OS are same , So don't get confused !

YU Yureka Users facing problems after updating to Official 5.1.1 Lollipop

Recently YU updated Yureka to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop . 
Although Its the time to Roll Marshmallow update but still they rolled Lollipop , May be because YU wants to provide a Bug free Android 5.1.1 ( Cyanogen os 12.1 ) update to Yureka . 



YU Yureka users were already facing many problems like battery draining issue , Heating issue etc after Lollipop 5.0.2 update , But After the new 5.1.1 update these problems became more visible .

These are the Problems users are experiencing after 5.1.1 Update -

• Battery Draining very fast .

• Yureka is taking very long time to charge .

• Phone is heating while doing normal task .

• Phone is restarting it self .

YU must roll another update to fix these issue , YU has already taken much time to update Yureka and according to users its the worst update .
