Here's the Moto Z3 Play

Rumors are making rounds over the internet regarding the upcoming mid-ranger from Motorola, but until now we haven't seen a clear look at the phone. But, that's going to change today, thanks to OnLeaks and KillerFeatures for leaking the clear renders of the Moto Z3 Play.

Looking at the images, it is pretty much clear that Motorola will be using the same metal and glass body with the Moto Z3 Play as well and the display is now 18:9 FullScreen, which is the first time we see it from Motorola. The Moto Z3 Play got a big 6.1-inch display.

At the heart of the phone, there will be a Snapdragon 636 SoC, coupled with 4GB of RAM options. Storage on the phones might go up to 64GB, according to previous rumors. As you can see in the images, the fingerprint sensor is built below the volume keys on the side of the devices in order to accomodate the Moto Mods and 18:9 Screen. And yes, there's no headphone Jack!!!

As per FCC listing the Z3 Play would feature a 12+8MP Dual Rear Cameras with 5MP Selfie shooter. Just like the Moto Z2 Play, the battery is 3000mAh.

Just a few days back, Motorola announced that they'll be sharing 2018 Moto Products in April 2018. Let's wait for Motorola's announcement!!! Thoughts?

OnePlus: Let's talk about OnePlus 6 Screen!!!

OnePlus on their Official OnePlus forum explained "Why the OnePlus 6 would feature a notch" and they also answered some of the most frequently asked questions about the OnePlus 6 top notch.
By now, most of you are aware that our next device will feature a cut-out near the top of the display, popularly known as a “notch”. A fiery debate has sparked online, so we wanted to give you guys some insight into our rationale behind this product decision.
According to OnePlus, notch is company’s way of providing more screen real estate to buyers. Through the notch, the company can free up a considerable amount of space near the top of the display, absorbing the notification and status icons.

OnePlus 6's notch measures 19.616mm by 7.687mm and it occupies a minimal amount of space in the top-center part of the display.

At last OnePlus said that their focus is to deliver the biggest and best screen, without compromising on the technology you love. Here are the FAQs that OnePlus answered:

Will the notch cut off my notifications if the status bar reaches a certain width?
OxygenOS will be optimized to work alongside the notch, ensuring you will always be able to view and access all of your notifications.

The notch cuts into the display, so the actual display size is smaller!
You actually get more screen. Thanks to the notch, we have managed to significantly increase our screen-to-body ratio. It’s like booking an airplane seat with extra leg room, which is used to absorb the clock and status bar.

If you’re integrating the front-facing camera, receiver, and LED light in the notch, why do you still need a chin?
A ribbon found at the bottom of each display connects the display to the internal hardware. This connection in itself demands the use of a bottom bezel. Our goal is to maximize the amount of real estate available to the user. So, we decided to reduce the size of the top bezel. The result is the largest viewable area we have ever produced.

The notch ruins my ability to enjoy movies and games. Can’t you block out the notch through software?
We understand the need to tailor your experience to your personal preferences. That’s why we have a compatibility mode on our next device. By setting this mode to individual apps, you are able to black out the sides of the notch when in landscape mode. We have tested compatibility mode with the 1000 most popular apps in the Play Store, and it works wonderfully.

Here's the Moto G6 and G6 Play From Almost Every Angle

At this point, we know almost everything about the upcoming Motorola Smartphones. The Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus, and the Moto G6 Play are expected to launch next month with exciting new features such as Premium Glass body, and Max Vision display.

In these images, which show us every angle of the device basically, we get a real good look at the dual rear-facing camera setup, fingerprint reader, the MaxVision display. The only thing we still can’t see is the top and bottom of the device, but if I was to guess, there's probabaly USB Type-C port on the Moto G6, Micro USB for the G6 Play, and 3.5mm headphone jack on both.

KillerFeatures also revealed the potential specs amd pricing of the Moto G6 and G6 Play. The G6 would feature a 5.7" FHD Display, and 3,000mAh. G6 Play will have a 5.7" HD+ Display, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450, 13MP Rear Camera, and Rear Facing Fingerprint Sensor.

The Moto G6 Play will go on sale for $199, while G6 will be priced in at around $249. Thoughts?

Oh Dear! This is the OnePlus 6 Top Notch!

Oh Dear! This is the OnePlus 6 Top Notch!
In 2017, OnePlus skipping the 4 announced OnePlus 5T and OnePlus 5. Both the Smartphones received praise from critics and consumers alike for its build quality, software, and camera performance.

This year's OnePlus 6 will be one of the most anticipated phone of 2018, which is rumored to release in July. OnePlus today exclusively reached out The Verge to let the whole world know that the OnePlus 6 would feature a top notch and yeah we all have to deal with it.

OnePlus also provided the precise measurements for its upcoming notch 19.616mm x 7.687mm. The Company said that their notch will be bigger than the Essential Phone, smaller than the iPhone X.
We saw the implementation [of gestures] on the iPhone. Maybe it would have taken longer if Apple hadn’t done it. Maybe not as fast. But we have access to the roadmaps of all the screen manufacturers, and when they gave us the opportunity to make cutouts at the top of the screen, it just made sense.
At last Pei says that this is company’s way of providing more screen real estate to buyers. So, learn to love the notch.

Yesterday, Evan Blass shared our first rear look at the OnePlus 6 and it looks gorgeous. The device is expected feature 19:9 aspect ratio, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 CPU, Adreno 630 GPU, 6/8GB of RAM, 128/256GB of internal memory, and Android 8.1 Oreo with OxygenOS.

Here’s a closer look at the Moto Z3 Play's Fingerprint Sensor

Following a series of leaks that we shared with you earlier, here's another clear look at Moto Z3 Play's new Fingerprint Sensor location. As you can see in the above case render, the fingerprint sensor is built below the volume keys on the side of the devices in order to accomodate the 18:9 Screen.

This year Motorola is going Max Vision (That's what Motorola calls) with all the Moto G, Moto X, and Moto Z line of Smartphones.

The Moto Z3 Play is expected features a 6" 18:9 near edge-to-edge display, while the Moto Z3 would have curved 18:9 display just like the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus and Snapdragon 845 SoC. Thoughts?

Just a few days back, Motorola announced that they'll be sharing 2018 Moto Products next month (April 2018). Thoughts?

9 Inexpensive Tech Updates for Summer 2018

What’s new in tech for summer 2018? As we all know, technology advances ultra-fast these days, with a new model released of a brand’s flagship product pretty much once per year. This renders your devices outdated pretty quickly, and it can be an expensive habit to constantly try to keep up with new models.

Luckily, there are ways to keep ahead of new tech without buying a slightly updated gadget every single year. Because let’s face it, the new updates are only usually a gadget that does the same function as the last, but with a scarcely better camera and a new charger port. Below we’ve listed ways you can enjoy the latest technological modernizations without splashing out potentially thousands on gadgets and gizmos.

Smart Speakers

Smart speakers are getting easier on the wallet and more and more high-tech. Below are our top picks for under $150:

  • Amazon Echo Spot – There has been multiple iterations of the Amazon Echo now, but the brand-new Spot is under $130 and is a much more stylish update for screened speakers after the Echo Show. The spherical speaker can become a clock display, act as a baby monitor or home surveillance device, show album artwork and lyrics when playing music, and more.
  • Google Home Mini – This tiny and very cheap (under $50) mini home speaker can do practically everything a larger one can but plugs into your phone. This means it’s fully portable, so you can take it between home and work.
  • Harman Kardon Invoke – This $100 speaker is powered by Microsoft’s Cortana assistant and is a cool 360-degree conical shape that will provide a focal point in your rooms. It’s smart home system compatible, can make hands-free calls, and will tell you your calendar along with many other functions.

Echo Buttons

These nifty little buttons are compatible with most Amazon Echo models and are a gameplay add-on. For $20, they’re the perfect after-dinner entertainment for a night in with friends.

PowerbankPhone Case

We all know the importance of a protective phone case, and many of us have come to rely on portable power banks when we’re out and about to prevent our crummy iPhone batteries from dying on us. It’s mostly been the case until now that you have to choose between style and functionality when it comes to protecting your phone. Well, one iPhone case brand has turned this all on its head.

Introducing stylish, hard-wearing phone cases with in-built powerbanks – three in one! They’re super protective, come in a range of on-trend patterns (glitter, marble, metallic), and store between 60-100% of a full iPhone charge within the case itself. No need to carry around a separate heavy powerbank. You can get them at Casely now.

Acer Iconia One Tablet

A powerful little tablet with 2GB storage – perfect for students and those who need a portable wi-fi enabled device onthego. Priced at $125, it won’t break the bank and comes with all the features you’ll need. It has a webcam, speaker, Bluetooth, microphone, camera, and memory card slot for extra storage. With great reviews, this is the perfect inexpensive tablet for anyone in the market for an iPad alternative.

Instant Cameras

Vintage polaroid-style cameras that print out pictures there-and-then have made a big comeback. Here’s our top pick of the latest models:

  • Polaroid Snap – Straight from the original brand, the Polaroid Snap can be snapped up for an affordable $82. It’s cute, ergonomically-packaged and produces stunning rectangular instant pictures.
  • Instax Mini 9 – For $55 on Amazon, these make a great treat for yourself or gift for someone else. The Instax Mini 9 features a number of different modes, and there are heaps of add-ons you can buy, like rainbow-colored film and pastel lenses.
  • Polaroid Pop – Slightly over-budget at $199, we had to include this camera for its amazing features. This instant camera has a touch-screen display – no more looking through viewfinders for your instant pictures – and you can use the screen to draw doodles and write on the photos before printing! Definitely one to add to your Christmas list.

How To Effectively Boost Your Business With Technology

There are many available resources out there these days that have a purpose of making your life easier, and many apps and resources that are developed specifically for convenience and communication. The ways that businesses communicate with their customers has changed drastically over the last five to ten years. Using some of these resources to help develop your businessand gain a larger customer base could have incredibly impacting results if approached in the right way. Below are some ideas and inspiration for quick and easy ways to boost your business.

Social Media

The advancements and accessibility of social media in just the last five years has had an astounding impact on the way consumers gain information. Apps such as Facebook and Snapchat have now become mainstream sources for news updates. Twitter and Instagram enable photos and stories to be shared publicly to the masses. Bearing this in mind, a well thought out and impressive social media campaign could be what is missing from a serious boost in your business. Depending on what you are offering to your customers, by pinpointing your target market, you can quickly begin to connect with your customers remotely.

Trending Topics

Whether you run a café, a car dealership or a cab service, you can tailor a social media platform to work for you. Using a hashtag can be incredibly powerful and can be used to get a subject ‘trending’. For example, if you are offering a one-time only deal, by sharing an image on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram with relevant info and a hashtag including a keyword that you want to start trending, you can start to spread the message of your business. Using available features to give live updates can be useful if you are running events, as live videos have become a regular feature of our newsfeeds. Email marketing is another practical and manageable way to boost business as 91% of customers check their email on a daily basis. Using email to inform customers of trends and offers can again bring in business with the touch of a button.

Customer Loyalty

Of course, this is an obvious point, but spending time devising a strategy as to how best connect and communicate with customers can have long-lasting results. By implementing specific offers and deals to loyal customers, you can encourage these customers to return to your business; loyalty and points cards are a good way to do this. It can be as advanced or uncomplicated as you want; coffee shops often have loyalty cards that require ten stamps for a free drink, for example. Other shops and businesses may offer more advanced loyalty cards to collect points which a customer can then track online. By making your customers feel valued, you can ensure happy customers not only return, but spread the message. Sometimes the downfall of a business can be to not pay attention to their current customers in the quest to find new ones. This can potentially affect and impact those who have been loyal to you, so don’t forget the old just to find the new.
