Nothing Phone 1 - Nothing OS BEST LOOK

Nothing is all set to launch the Nothing Phone 1 and the highlight of that device is it's Nothing OS which is coming with some Exciting features and changes. The Nothing OS will be based on Google's Android 12 and Nothing plans to use it's own Retro Dot-Matrix Design language, this along with using most Google apps with Material You Finish.

The launch event gave us some hints what to Expect from Nothing OS, So we made a Concept accordingly. The Most Exciting Part of Nothing OS is of-course the Quick Settings, coz it is way different than basic Pixyish or OnePlus, Samsung’s Interface. Yeah you guys can see on top we’ll have two circular elements containing the information about your data pack, or balance, and connected devices with the battery level. In this Image, you guys can see the swipe-able interface, Tesla and Nothing ear 1 are connected devices and when you tap on that, you’ll see this pop-up menu with tons of options, so I guess one can control the connected devices easily from there. Nothing Says Non-Nothing devices will also connect with NOTHING os, that is gonna be awesome.

Nothing Official Launcher is live on Play Store, this is a basic launcher with basic icons, but we do have sone Dot-Matrix widget, like this cool weather widget, Digital and Analog clock. You guys can select a transparent or solid style of Digital Clock. Fun part is you can enlarge an icon which you use most, like I use twitter a lot, so it is gonna be easy for me to find and click on that app.

Nothing is also working on their icons, which I guess may look like this, icons made from dots, and I hope they give us an option to turn off and turn on the Dot theme. Nothing says this OS will be bloatware free, so no third part apps I guess, and Nothing of course is working with Google for this OS, they’re using almost all Gapps, so I think will surely see Material You design interface in there. Yes Google has done so many nice changes, like all Nothing has to do is, use them, So yeah again I think Pixel style Interface all over with Material You finish, some Nothing Exclusive Addons like Widget, Voice Recorder, Music Player and of course the awesome Quick Settings interface which I hope can connect to and control all smart devices with an ease.

Samsung Smartphones getting OneUI 4.1 (Android 12) Official Update

Samsung has started rolling out Official Android 12 OneUI 4.1 Update for Galaxy Smartphones. OneUI 4.1 first came with the Galaxy S22 Series with some new features.

Samsung OneUI 4.1 (Android 12) will be soon available for Galaxy S21 Series (Samsung Galaxy S21 FE), Latest Galaxy A Series and Tab S7 FE. Samsung plans to extend it to even more devices - S20 Series, Z Fold, Z Flip, Note Series, S10 Series, Galaxy A and Tab S Series in the coming months.

Some Exciting OneUI 4.1 Features includes iOS Style Smart Widget which won’t need much space and can swipe between different widgets allowing users to keep a single widget on screen, saving space, and at same time you guys can use all widgets like clock, Samsung notes, date and time. There are new Quick Settings as well, Samsung have done small changes in the Text, it is now Medium than Bold in OneUI 4. Now I’m gonna show you guys the Animation and System Apps Interface, but there are small changes, but you won’t notice much.

 

In the Camera application Pro mode, you can now switch to Main, Ultra Wide, Telephoto 3x and Telephoto 10X, in ONEUI 4 it just Wide and Main. There are some new features in the Settings, like the Storage Section has an Option RAM Plus, which is like a visual RAM, by default it was 4 Gigs in OneUI 4, and now in 4.1, you can choose 2 Gigs to Max out 8 Gigs. 

Finally the Lockscreen Wallpaper service has a new option Samsung Global Goals, you can get daily messages about the figures, on how much change Samsung have done in the society, so a nice initiative. The OneUI 4.1 is not only about the Features, but the animation is now faster than ever and I really like this change. This is Samsung OneUI 4.1 vs Pixel OS, and honestly speaking, I like the Color Pallet Picker of OneUI.

The Material You Style Battery Widget is now Live for Google Pixel Devices running Android 12L (It's a Part of March Google Pixel Feature Drop. Google's Material You is next stage for Material Design which is made for You. Yes, Personal Styling, the Widgets and Color Accent, Interface adapts to the Wallpaper Colors. 

The new Material You Battery Widget shows the Battery Percentage Level of your Pixel Smartphone and other Wireless Devices. Battery Widget works on Pixel Buds, Sony Buds, OnePlus Buds, Xiaomi Buds, Samsung Galaxy Buds, but Apple AirPods / Pro. 

We connected our AirPods to the Google Pixel 6 and it doesn't show it's Battery Percentage Level. 

"And the new Pixel battery widget can show up-to-date battery information for your Pixel, as well as Bluetooth connected devices like Pixel Buds). Add the widget to your home screen to keep an eye on battery life across your devices."

OnePlus 10 Pro Goes OFFICIAL

 The OnePlus 10 Pro Flagship Smartphone is now Officially Official. After all the Rumours, Leaks and anticipation, the 10th Generation Flagship Smartphone from OPPO's Sub-brand OnePlus is now available in China. 

The OnePlus 10 Pro comes with a 6.7” Display 2K Display, Second Gen High 120Hz Refresh Rate, this thing can go from 1Hz to 120Hz and vice versa in no time, saving battery and giving an amazing smooth experience. This is an expensive Samsung Panel and there’s a hole punch display on top left corner.

The Specifications are max out for this price, so we’ve Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Silicon with Adreno 730 GPU which is like really powerful. OnePlus says there’s heating pipe and silica gel for heat dissipation coz this CPU heats a lot. It runs ColorOS 12.1 out of the box which is based on A12, this device is coming with OxyegnOS outside china that is official. See in colorOS 12, you won’t notice huge changes in terms of interface but they say it is smooth, they’re are some privacy settings like Cam and Mic indicators, some changes in Privacy dashboard, there’s Hyper Boost for stable frame rate and low latency, desktop mode and some small visual changes.

Oneplus is using squarish module design which contains 3 Cameras and some supporting sensor, So IMX789 main, is gonna take some awesome day light and night images, here are some Official Camera samples. Surprisingly there’s Super Wide which can shoot 150 degree field of view shots, I guess can also act as macro, and then there’s 3.3X Telephoto lens too. So no fillers, all Flagship Level Sensors in this device.

The OnePlus 10 Pro gets 80W of Insane Charging Speed with a massive 5000mAh battery, yeah this device can charge full in half an hour, So overall awesome specs, it do support wireless charging, , fast storage and max out RAM, and yes a power brick inside the box

So an amazing package, I like the new look of and ofcourse the 8 Gen 1 CPU, 80W Of Fast Charging, Samsung’s E5 LTPO Display. The Official Pricing of OnePlus 10 Pro is 4699 Yuan which is awesome, that is 737 us dollars and 55000 INR.

OnePlus plans to launch the OnePlus 10 Pro soon in markets like India, US, and UK with OxygenOS 12.

It's OFFICIAL! The OnePlus 10 Pro Arrives January 2022

It's OFFICIAL, OnePlus will be announcing the OnePlus 10 Pro next month that's January 2022. OnePlus plans to use the first batch of Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SOC in the OnePlus 10 Series. OnePlus CEO says with the next Flagship Series will focus on user experience and our new software and hardware will efficiently with the 8 Gen 1 for max out Performance. So OnePlus is planning something big for The OnePlus 10.

Last month we saw the CAD Renders, Metal Models and Specifications of The OnePlus 10 Pro, and now here is the LIVE likely OFFICIAL Case of this new flagship confirming the Design. So you can see the case has 5 circular cut-out, Some Cameras, a led flash and a microphone, the case also got USB C protection. 

Now a huge news coming in, OnePlus is now an OFFICIAL sub brand of OPPO. OPPO at Qualcomm event says we plan to use the 8 Gen 1 CPU in both OnePlus and OPPO. The 8 Gen 1 is like really powerful and has Cortex X2 Main Core in CPU, there’s 30% Faster Adreno 730 GPU and 18 bit ISP, the SOC Support 8K HDR Video. The 9 Pro can do 8K without HDR, so in 10 Pro with new Sony 50MP Sensor, OnePlus is surely gonna enable HDR Option when shooting 8K Videos, yeah not to mention The OnePlus 10 Pro is gonna have a 32MP Selfie Shooter, so 4k front Videos are for sure coming.

Max J says, OnePlus is planning for a China exclusive launch and then after a few month they plan to launch it in the US, UK and India, which is quite shocking coz OnePlus always had Global launches for main flagship, but now with OPPO merge things can change.

Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 Looks AMAZING!

So the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4 is now Official,we've come a long way, this is the first ever device with a proper In-Display Camera, Finally a device without any Notches or Punch Hole or Moving parts like Sliding Mechanism. The Official Specifications are now out, so is the design, So this is all about the Xiaomi Mi MIX 4.

Now main highlight of this device is a 6.67 inches display, this is a 1080P Panel, with Gorrila Glass Vicus on top, Display contains all elements which you can find in a Max out Flagship device, what you cannot find is the In-Display 20MP Camera, Display on top of Camera contains space in sub pixel, so that the Sensor can grab light and take some amazing shots, this along with hiding the Camera inside display... So this is an amazing solution, you can see how it hides itself.. Xiaomi says with the MIUI Camera, this can take some amazing selfei images. This is a 60 hz 90 hz 120Hz Quad Curve Display, but with a rectangular boxy finish, nothing like the XIaomi Mi 11.

Mix 4 is getting some new colors, Shadow Greenish Blue, Ceramic Grey and Ceramic White.Back Finish is quite similar to Samsung S20 Ultra, Main HMX Sensor, supports OIS, 13MP Super Wide, 8MP Telephoto lens with 5X Optical zoom with OIS. I'm not a fan of that HMX Sensor, coz it got some serious focus issues, can be seen the Camera Specificattions is not their main highlight. Here are some Camera samples, and as always they look nice.

There were some last minute changes in the Specifications, We have a 120W Fast Charging, Xiaomi claims it can go 80% in 10 mins, and in 21mins, full 100%. The Battery size is 4500mAh, not that huge, Wireless charging is tone down to 50W due to some helth laws in China,So i guess if this goes on we wont see any massive 80W or 200W fast charging ever.

Some other Specifications are IP68, Nice, Qualcomms 888+ in which Cortex-X1 has got a clock speed of 2.995GHz, there are some AI improvements too. LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 Storage.

Xiaomi have made varitey of cases official, they all look nice.

So now about the Pricing, The Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 Starts 4999 Yuan which is Insane, like I was not expecting such amazing pricing. It goes to 6299 yuan for max out variant.

21 OnePlus devices eligible to get Android 12 (OxygenOS 12)

Google has recently announced a new version of android Android 12 with tons of features, improvements, and all-new UI enhancements. After that various companies released beta their devices and OnePlus is not far behind. OnePlus already released Android 12 beta for the OnePlus 9 and the OnePlus 9 Pro. The update is in the beta state and has various issues/problems which are mentioned below.

Here is the list of known issues with Android 12 on the OnePlus 9 series:

• All data will be cleared while flashing the build
• Video call function is not available
• Fingerprint unlock and face unlock are unavailable
• Certain UI screens look less than desirable
• Some apps may not function as expected
• System stability issues

As we are getting close to Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event we are getting more and more leaks of the devices that will be revealed on August 11. So far there has been leaks for Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Watch 4, S Pen Pro and about the list of products that company is going to reveal during the event.

Adding to the list of leaks, this time we got the Official Wallpapers for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3. For the Z Fold 3. Samsung has kept the same butterfly design from the galaxy Z Fold 2, but this time its more florid and looks much better than the previous ones. Same goes for the Galaxy Z Flip 3, its just looks much better.

Apple is going to introduce In Display Face ID in iPhones

As we all know that apple is continuously working on its technological advancements. The company is planning to introduce the In Display face ID system which they are going to launch from the year 2023. The iPhones they will launch from 2023 will come with the feature of In display facial recognition system by removing the facial recognition system from its notch display according to its analysts.

According to the leaks it has been stated that the In display face recognition wit a latest periscope telephoto lens which consists of smart face capturing technology. the apple will completely remove the notch display which consists of the punch hole design and now from 2023 the company will provide the In display face ID.

According to the information from the apple's analysts the notch display was introduced from iPhone X and by 2021 apple is about to introduce the reduced notch in its displays in iPhone 13 which consists of the trueDepth camera function with the Face ID and reduced notch. Not the company is looking to improvise its technology and is working to introduce the face ID in display which will automatically disable the notch display.

As per the leaks from 2023 the apple will launch the in display fingerprint as well as Face ID system with a full display but unfortunately is been known after the launch of the technology in iPhones. Some of the rumours were also spread by the people that the In display fingerprint and Face Id system would be introduced by apple in iPhone 13 but as such there is no official information about it from company's end for the removal of notch display so let's wait and watch what apple is going to do. According to the analyst its been also known that apple is removing the mini 5.4 inch display from its phones.

MacBook Pro M1 Should you buy now or Wait

Apple has always been in the first position when it comes to sales of the laptop because they made the best performance laptop in a compact design with the best quality build and refined operating system. From the last few months rumors have suggested Apple is working on a new MacBook Pro with a new design, Apple Silicon processor, and much more.

According to the rumors this year Apple will be announcing 2 new MacBook Pro with a brand new design and a new Apple Silicon processor on the inside. Apple will release a new 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro with a new mini-LED screen technology with a new M1X processor. The new MacBook could also feature a flat-edged design like we've seen in the iPad Pro and iPhone 12 and may also remove the Touch Bar and will return to the old functional keys.

Last year Apple has released its first Apple Silicon chip M1 with tons of improvements and amazing performance embedded that in a very small chipset. The performance and battery life of the M1 MacBook are unbeatable in the price segment. We've also seen the M1 MacBook almost beat last year's 16-inch MacBook Pro in terms of performance and battery life is also fabulous.

At the end I want to say that if you need a machine for web browsing, app development or any other simple task you can definitely buy the currently available M1 MacBook or else if you need some extra ports, amazing display, extra performance and new design you can wait for the upcoming MacBook Pro and if you already have Mac machine you definitely should wait for the new upcoming MacBook.

Samsung galaxy Watch 4 revealed

Samsung is ready to launch the next version of its SmartWatch the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 on August 11 and there will be only two models the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 classic. The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series will have a brand new design which will give it a fresh new look.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series will have a new & improved UI similar to Google Wear OS and Tizen OS. Basically, the new UI will improve the overall performance and battery life of the smartwatch, and this time Samsung Galaxy Watch4 will be available in two sizes 40mm and 44mm.

                                   

When it comes to specifications the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 series will offer 5ATM water resistance, MIL-STD 810G durability rating, Gorilla Glass DX+ protection, GPS, and a lot more and the galaxy watch will be available in silver, rose gold, black, and dark green.

                                   

Everything is still not confirmed yet, we will have to wait for the official release. Considering the overall specs and details the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 series looks pretty solid and worth the buy but other companies are also planning to launch their smartwatches this year. So, there will be a lot of options for the buyers to choose from.

Android 13 "T" codename leaked

While we are still waiting for the full release of Android 12 "S", which is currently in beta 3 and is expected to launch mid-august. There has been a leak for the Android 13's codename. 

Well, much to users surprise, Google stopped naming their Android version after Android 9 Pie. The previous Android 10 was simply referred to as Android Q and Android 11 as Android R. Although, while not publicly but Google used "Quince Tart" for Android 10 and "Red Velvet Cake" for Android 11 internally. 

With Android 12 named Snow Cone, Google is back on track with using dessert as android codenames. Now,as per a leak posted on Twitter by Mishaal Rahman, indicating that the Android 13 "T" will have the codename "Tiramisu". For the unknown, Tiramisu is a coffee-flavoured Italian dessert.

Looks like we won't have to wait to find out what the internal dessert name of Android 13 "T" is.

Now, the post also mention that codemane "Tiramisu" is used by Google internally. So, the public name for Android 13 may be something else.

Xiaomi Mi 12 with 200MP Camera Leaked

After the huge success of the MI 11 series launched this year, Xiaomi is all set to launch the new successor of this series the MI 12. It is not confirmed yet but the MI 12 series can be launched in early 2022.

The MI 12 specification has already been leaked before any official announcement by Xiaomi and according to the leaks the MI 12 is going to be powered by Snapdragon 898 SoC. The biggest highlight of the Snapdragon 898 is that it will be clocked at 3.09GHz, which can create a huge difference in the performance of a phone.

The Snapdragon 898 will have four efficiency cores, then three performance cores, and one ARM X2 core that will be clocked at 3.09GHz. The Geekbench score for the Snapdragon 898 was 1250 for single-core and 4000 for multi-core.

Another major leak about the Xiaomi MI12 was that it will be the first phone to have an LPDDR5X RAM which is 2 times faster than the LPDDR4X and also rumors have been there that the MI 12 can have a 200MP primary camera that will be made by Samsung and the sensor will be 1-inch in size that makes it the largest sensor dor a smartphone in the world.

S Pen Pro info leaked ahead of the Galaxy Unpacked event

As we are getting close to Samsung's Galaxy Unpacked event, more and more info is getting leaked of the devices that are launching on the event. In previous posts, we covered info on Galaxy Z Fold 3 and other devices that will debut during the event. 

This time we got some info on the Samsung S Pen Pro, as posted on twitter by tipster Chun, the S Pen Pro features 0.7mm tip, can sense 4096 levels of pressure. It can also be used with the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 3 without damaging the phone's display. The S Pen Pro can be charged via its USB Type-C port. It can be magnetically stick to the back of compatible phones. The S Pen is rumored to be priced at £70 in the UK.

The Galaxy S21 Ultra's S Pen accessory came without a Bluetooth support, which was a downgrade from its predecessor that had Bluetooth connectivity. During the launch event of the Galaxy S21 Ultra, Samsung announced that its is working on S Pen Pro which will feature Bluetooth connectivity. Also the S Pen Pro will be slightly bigger than the previous version.
