Recently Samsung released Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy Note 5 and S6 / S6 edge . The update comes with new Touchwiz UI ( Which looks nice ) .




Hence Officially Marshmallow update will be only available for Recent and previous year flagships . So XDA devs created a Marshmallow Touchwiz UI Mod/Theme for Samsung Galaxy S3 and Note 2 .

Note - This will only work on Android 4.4.4 Kitkat Touchwiz Rom ( Use Eclipse Rom for Best experience ) .

Eclipse Rom is both available for Note 2 and S3 ( Find it on Google / Xda )

Step 1. Download The MOD zip from below .

Step 2. Go to Custom Recovery ( TWRP ) .

Earlier Xiaomi revealed that Mi 4 and Mi Note will be going to get MIUI 7 which will be based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow .



Now , Xiaomi is also working for Marshmallow update for Xiaomi Mi3 . GizmoChina has revealed a Screenshot Showing MIUI 7 ( Marshmallow ) update on Xiaomi Mi3 .

Also Xiaomi officially revealed that this update is in its final validation process and will be released very soon !

This bug is found by Indrajeet Bhuyan , he found that sending more than a couple of Smileys ( Say 4000+ ) will crash anyone's Whatsapp due to " overflowing the buffer " .

Here's How to Crash someones's Whatsapp with Smileys  ( For Educational Purpose only ) -


Step 1. Open web.whatsapp.com via Mozilla firefox ( PC / Mac ) .



Step 2. Login to Web Whatsapp ( Just Scan the QR code given on the desktop screen through your Smartphone's Whatsapp app ) .

Step 3.  Now Choose a Target ( Open chat of any of your friend ) .

Note - Ask him to take a backup of Whatsapp , as now his /her Whatsapp is going to crash .

Step 4. Now Start typing 4000+ Smileys ( Do Copy paste , but don't copy more than 100 smileys ) .

On Answering the question Andrew ( Google Team member ) said that -

We're working on lots of things right now for N that, of course, we wish we had, you know, yesterday. But we'd spoil the surprise of N if we shared all of them. Split screen is in the works!

Recently A Note 5 user Accidentally got Official  Android 6.0 Marshmallow update on Samsung Galaxy Note 5  . But now it looks likes Samsung is rolling Android 6.0 Marshmallow  update for Note 4 .



According to reports by napidroid , Note 4 just started getting Android 6.0 Marshmallow update .

Motorola Moto G 1st Generation ( 2013 ) and Moto G 2nd Generation ( 2014 ) can finally install Official Cyanogenmod 13 which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow .



Cyanogenmod 13 is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow , Cyanogenmod 13 has more features than official Marshmallow . In additional to Stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow , Cyanogenmod 13 comes with theme manager , and many Cyanogenmod tweaks .

Although Moto G 1st Generation will not get official Marshmallow update from Motorola . But Finally , Moto G 2013 today got this official nightly of Cyanogenmod 13 ( Marshmallow ) .



Moto G 2nd Generation will get Official Marshmallow from Motorola , but why to wait so long ? If Official Cm13 Marshmallow is also available for Moto G 2014 .

Sadly Moto G 2015 ( 3rd Generation ) has not got Official Cyanogenmod 13 at this time .

Motorola has started rolling Android 5.1 Lollipop for Moto E 2nd Gen ( Surnia ) users in India . Users of Motorola Moto E 2nd Generation can now update their Smartphones to Android 5.1.1 Lollipop .

The Lollipop 5.1.1 update is now seeding for Indian users of Moto E 2nd Gen in Phases . Many users have already reported to get Android 5.1.1 Lollipop update . Users reported that it is not soak test ( as soak test was over last week ) .
