Unannounced Moto Z mods leak

Hellomoto HK just leaked some pictures about unannounced moto Z stuff!

To begin with, he says there's a Moto Z Play yet to come and that it will feature a lower price and some lower specs in the CPU and screen departments. Other than that, he leaked some interesting pics about MotoMods that were not revealed today. Take a look:

The first one is the Pro Camera Mod with 10x Optical Zoom we had seen. This one seems very cool for picture enthusiasts. There's also an Adventure Mod that will make your phone water proof and resist drops. 

Last but not least, there are some Style Mods that you will be able to get from Motomaker to make your phone yours. This includes plastic and ballistic nylon backs, other than the wood and leather we have seen today. 

We will have more news for sure until its launch in September, so hopefully we will hear more soon. We still have to recover from the slayage of the amazing Motorola phones we got today.

Motorola and Lenovo just launched the new Moto Z, officially!

Moto Z and Moto Z Force are here, and also the new DROID editions! Moto Z is the world's thinnest phone at 5.2mm, comes with a 13MP camera, 4GB of RAM, the snapdragon 820 CPU, and a 5.5" QHD screen. The Z Force will come with a 21MP camera and 40 hours of battery life. Motorola also says its new TurboPower will charge your phone one hour per minute, so 15 minutes will give you 15 hours!

The new Moto Z phones will be available in September and you can check all the specs here.

Motorola Russia just posted this picture as they profile pic, even before the phone was announced. They probably made a mistake, but as you can see, this is the moto Z!

Motorola Moto Z : Everything we know so far !

So , The day has came when Motorola and Lenovo are finally going to introduce a new Smartphone . Probably a Smartphone that was never seen before , A whole new concept and innovation .

According to bunch of leaks , Motorola is going to introduce Moto Z and Moto Z Force. The Devices will be revealed Today at Lenovo's Tech World along with Project Tango .

The devices will be Motorola's first Modular Smartphone . The 16 holes that are at the back panel of the device are actually connection pins that allow modular backplates to be snapped onto either handset .

Specifications - 

Moto Z will feature a 5.5-inch QHD display, Snapdragon 820 processor, 3GB or 4GB of RAM, a 16-megapixel rear camera, 32GB of inbuilt storage, 2600mAh battery, and 5.2mm thickness. 

While the Moto X Play 2 is expected to sport a 5.5-inch full-HD display, a Snapdragon 625 SoC, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 16GB and 32GB storage variants, 3500mAh battery, and 7mm thickness.

Countdown: one day to moto Z

The new Motorola flagship is coming tomorrow. Are you ready?

We can't deny that we love Motorola. It's the company that invented the phone and while other companies have disappeared during the past years, Moto always finds ways to reinvent itself. That being said, here are two new leaks of the Moto Z. 

The first new picture suggests the phone will be very thin and shows the date of the event. Other than that, you can see the camera bumping out of the phone, as rumored. You can also se there's a new button layout and it's a fully metal phone.

The second picture shows both Lenovo's and Motorola logos and it also shows the 16 pins the phone will have to connect its innovative modular system. The bottom of the picture shows the TechWorld date for tomorrow.

The phone will be announced tomorrow at Lenovo Tech World 2016. Here is a live stream to watch the event.

Moto G Play coming to India!

The new budget phone from Motorola is coming to India soon!

Zauba, a known import site for technology, is showing some information about the new Moto G Play being imported into the big country. As you can see from the picture, model XT1607 was imported to India along with the regular moto G Plus.

Moto G Play (or G4 Play) is a budget version of the new moto G line, rumored to replace the moto E and come at a very competitive price. As you can see from the picture, the per unit value will be of 6800 INR, but its final price will be a little higher, but still under 10000 INR.

Moto G Play comes with a 5.0" HD display, rocks an 8/5MP set up, comes with 2GB of RAM and the Motorola Mobile Computing System SoC (with a Snapdragon 410). We can't be sure yet about availability, but it might be pretty soon, probably at the end of June or during the first weeks of July, along with the regular G4 (not the Plus one). Since the Plus was an Amazon Exclusive, we can guess that the other ones will not be and might also be on Flipkart, so we have to wait and see.

Galaxy Note 6 LEAK!

Samsung might call it 6 or 7 but now we have a render of it!

Reliable Twitter leaker @Onleaks has just posted a picture of the new Galaxy Note phone for this year. Some rumors say that Samsung might call it Galaxy Note 7 instead of 6, because people might get confused that there is an S7 and a Note 6, so it's understandable to have both flagship phones named the same.

Other than that, its dimensions have leaked too and they seem to be a bit smaller than last year's note. This one will be 153x74.5x7.8mm, making it pretty thin. Other than that very little is known, but you can see in the picture that this is the Edge version, so it will have the innovative display tech again this year.

The phone is rumored to come in August to compete with the new iPhones. We will keep updating you about new Note leaks as soon as they come out.

New Nexus 2016 by Huawei?

Because one is not enough...

Huawei just revealed through a conversation with a general manager of their company that they will be making the nexus device this year. They went on to say that it's a nice product to make but that it never sells well. This is something very true. Android fans always love the nexus phones, but in reality other high-end phones outsell them every single year.

But what's interesting is that HTC is also releasing the nexus phones this year. Two of them, actually, so we don't know if Huawei means this year or next year. Last year's nexus 6P was made by them, so it's a possibility that they will make it again this year, given the praise the 6P got. So we will have to wait and see...maybe we even get three nexus phones this year!

Introducing the new Motorola Camera

Motorola Mobility just released its new camera app...

It's the same app found on the Moto G4 series, which is an improved version over the old camera app. Called the Moto Camera, it brings all the new features and modes of the new G4, and it's so different from last year's cam!

For starters, it comes with a shutter button, and the UI is not as simple or minimalistic as before. You now have more options: photo, professional photo, slow-mo video, panorama and video mode. In addition, if you do a multi-shot, the phone will recognize the best picture and show it to you. It brings QR reader, shutter speed and ISO settings, and it's integrated into Google Photos gallery. So no more Motorola stock gallery app. Now it's more of a Google experience.

Breaking News: OnePlus 3, Amazon Exclusive?

OnePlus just teased their newest phone as coming soon to India...

The new OnePlus 3 is coming on June 14th and it's shaping up to be quite an exciting device. It will come in 4/6GB versions, a new aluminum body design, with a front fingerprint scanner and a 5.5" 1080p screen. OnePlus is now teasing its launch event, which will be in 11 days. 

But one little thing we notice in the video they posted, is that it will be an Amazon exclusive device. As we told you yesterday, OnePlus will drop the invite system forever so you will now be able to buy the OnePlus the regular way. Buyers from India will also be happy that they will be able to buy it immediately on Amazon.

Samsung releases two new wearables

Samsung wants you to be fit!

The Korean company just announced two new devices, one is a smartwatch, the other one is a bluetooth headset. The Gear Fit 2 is a fitness band, with a 1.5" Amoled screen, a dual core SoC, 512MB of RAM with 4GB on board memory, and a 200mAH battery. It's compatible with Kitkat and up, and runs Samsung's Tizen OS. As it is a fitness device, it's water resistant (IP68). Here's a video about the device in action:

The other device is the Gear IconX, a bluetooth concept similar to the Motorola Hint and VerveOnes (which launched this week). It has 3 different sizes of eartips and wingtips, according to Samsung's press release. It tracks your fitness data including your heart rate, syncing with Samsung's Health app. You will have a voice software feedback so you the device will be telling you right in your ear how well or bad you are doing. Oh, and it can store up to 1000 MP3 songs! Pretty cool, huh? Expect it to be available in Q3. Price was not announced, though.

In seven days, Motorola will change the world

We only have one week left...

Motorola is set to introduce its new Moto phone at the Lenovo Tech World in San Francisco on June 9th. That's only 7 days from now, and here is everything we know about the new Motorola.

1 - There will be two versions of the new phone(s). One will continue the Moto line, but its rumored to be called Moto Z instead of Moto X. There will also be a DROID version sold in the USA, which will feature Verizon exclusive apps and some Motorola exclusive Droid apps, like the Circles widget and the Droid Zap feature.

2 - The phones will be thin. RAZR thin. That's why Motorola has teased the Razr V3 so much lately. The new Moto line will be have versions that will be 5-7mm thin, making it one of the slimmest phones out there. 

3 - They are modular phones. Although it's not really like Project Ara, Motorola will have some accessories that will connect to the phone to make it have a professional camera, a projector, stereo speakers, and a huge battery module. That's why you see 16 pins in the back of the phone and Lenovo's official blog says we will see "new technology designed by Motorola that will dramatically think about and use their most personal devices - in a snap" .

4 - They will come with flagship specs. Expect the latest Snapdragon 820, Quad HD screens, impressive cameras and long battery life running on the latest Android. 

5 - They will come with a satterproof display, just like Moto X Force from last year. This means your screen won't break if you drop the phone, and its aluminum unibody will make it have a real premium feeling. This will be the first all-metal Motorola phone since 2008's Aura luxury phone.

We are excited, and we trust and hope this launch is meaningful to fans and the tech world (no pun intended). Motorola has more lives than a cat and has made more comebacks than Jesus, so we are confident that they will impress us with the new devices. Until then, TTYL.

Confirmed: OnePlus 3 on June 15th

The new OnePlus flagship will be launched on June 15th.

OnePlus has confirmed that the new OnePlus 3 device is coming pretty soon. The phone recently passed through the FCC and chinese TENAA, and most of its specs have already been leaked: 4/6GB of RAM, Snapdragon 820 chip, 3000mAH battery and a completely new design for the OnePlus phone brand.

Also today, it was announced that they will be dropping the invite system and will sell it through more stores, and in the normal way, without you having to wait to get an invite. That's great news for OnePlus fans. The phone should be released the day after the event, which is on June 14th, so get ready for the new flagship!

LG releases the Stylus 2 Plus

The LG Stylus 2 Plus will be available in the coming weeks all around the world.

LG just released a new smartphone, the Stylus 2 Plus, and seems to be an interesting device, and this time it doesn't copy the name of a Motorola device. The new phone comes with a 5.7" 1080p screen, a 1.4GHz octa-core chipset, a 13MP (or 16, depending on the country you are at), and as the name points out, it comes with a stylus.




The phone will also come with marshmallow and though it's a fully plastic body, it's pretty thin at 7.4mm, even though it carries a 3000mAH battery, so you will have plenty of juice. Other than that, its design is the traditional LG design language, so nothing new there.

LG says it will come with a competitive price, though it wasn't announced during its release. We will have to wait and see until it's available. LG says it will be available soon.

OnePlus 3 with 6GB of RAM emerges

Another version of the OnePlus has passed through TENAA recently, and this one comes with 6GB of RAM as previously leaked info pointed out. However, some days ago some models of the next OnePlus had passed through TENAA and there was no mention of 6 gigs of RAM, but now it's official.

The phone is expected to be announced on June 14th with rumors saying that there will be two versions: one with 4/32GB set up and one with 6/64GB set up, which seems logical. Other specs remain the same: 5.5" 1080p screen, 16/8MP cameras and a 3000mAH battery on an aluminum design with a front fingerprint scanner.

Which one will you choose? 4GB or 6GB of RAM?

LG is now copying Motorola names

Meet the LG X Power and X Style. Yes, you read that right...

LG just released two new phones, and apart from copying Motorola names the devices are not very surprising. The LG X Power comes with a 5.3" IPS 720p screen, a quad core Mediatek CPU with 2GB of RAM, plus 16GB and a slot for microSD cards. Where is the power? We wonder that too. Maybe it's for its 4100mAH battery? Otherwise, it's not an exciting phone. And it's more expensive than the moto G4 devices for what it offers, so its price of $200 is not competitive at all.

Their other device is the X Style. No, not the moto X Style. This LG X Style is a low end phone with a 5" 720p screen and a Snapdragon 410 CPU. It will come with an 8MP camera and a 2100mAH battery for a price of $180, making it more expensive than the moto G4 Play, which will come at a similar price to the moto E series. All in all, these phones don't offer very competitive prices...but what we don't really like is the fact that they are copying the exact same name of Motorola's flagship and using it for a low-end phone.

New Xperia E5

Sony just announced its new mid-range phone, and it's all about the price!

The phone comes with a 5" HD screen (720p only), a Mediatek CPU with 1.5GB of RAM a 13/5MP shooter set up. This also includes a front facing flash! Sony's UI comes on top of marshmallow, and the UI looks very nice. There's also the promise of 2-day battery life, powered by a 2700mAH battery.

The phone will come in black and white, and will be released in Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East for around $225.

VERVElife by Motorola officially on sale

EXCLUSIVE: The most anticipated wearable release of the year is out now!

VerveLife by Motorola was just released in Germany and is about to go on sale in other countries too. Amazon Germany just put all the Verve range on sale and we must say that they are very interesting devices. Here is a specs comparison that shows all the features of the new devices.

As you can see, all these bluetooth devices offer HD sound, multiple microphones, Siri and Google now compatibility and long battery life. The VerveLoop offers a completely new design while the VerveRider and VerveOnes come with a familiar design, similar to the Motorola Buds and Moto Hint, respectively. In fact, VerveOnes is like a double-Hint pack and offers a similar charging method.

All VerveLife devices will be available elsewhere in the coming month or so, and its pricing (at least on Amazon Germany) starts at 80 Euros. The VerveOnes+ are the most expensive ones, at 246 Euros. 

Motorola Mobility sold its accessories and audio division to Binatone Global last year. Binatone was already a licensee for the Motorola brand (making cordless phones and baby monitors), and now will be making all the Motorola-branded accessories going forward. All the Motorola accessories team (Bluetooth, power packs, car chargers) moved to Binatone last year, and these products (and the new Pulse 2 headphones released last week in India) are the first of many Motorola-branded to come.

Apple won't be able to sell refurbished iPhones in India

The Indian government decided to stop refurbished iPhone sales in India. Apple has been selling refurbished or certified phones as a move to sell more phones and gain market in the country, but it is seen as a bad practice by the government. "We are not in favor of any company selling used phones in the country", minister of commerce and industry said. 

Apple has been having some trouble in India, selling phones with high price tags in a market where phones under  200 dollars like the moto G4 dominate the market. At the same time, the Indian goverment requires manufacturers to make 30% in the country. This is something Apple hasn't been very keen on doing.

Let's see how the story ends for Apple in India. They are obviously not happy on losing this big market and will probably find their way back into it.

Asus Zenfone 3 is official!

Asus just unveiled its new Zenfone line of smartphones and we must say that they look good!

The phones were just announced at Computex, with the Zenfone 3 being the mid-tier flagship of them. This one carries a 5.5" 1080p screen, a 16/8MP camera set up, the Snapdragon 625 CPU with 4 gigs of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. All of this, backed with a 3000mAH battery and a price under 300 dollars.

The Ultra version of it comes with a massive 6.8" 1080p screen, 23MP shooter, 128GB of built-in storage and an insane 4600mAH battery. Sounds amazing, but will it fit in your pocket? Probably not. The Deluxe edition is more compact, though, coming with a 5.7" 1080p screen and a 23MP shooter, 6GB of RAM and the powerful Snapdragon 820 CPU.

Upcoming Xiaomi Redmi 3A hits TENAA

New Xiaomi Redmi 3A has been spotted at TENAA, and some of its specs have emerged. As you can see in the pictures, it comes with the familiar Xiaomi design language and has a back fingerprint scanner. 

This will be a rather compact device, with a 5" HD screen, a 13MP camera and Android 6.0.1 running on a octa-core 1.4GHz CPU. One interesting aspect, though, is that it comes with a 4000mAH battery, which is huge, and its price in China will be under 100 dollars.

We have to wait and see until it's unveiled, but it will be a very competitive phone for sure.

OnePlus 3 visits the FCC, specs confirmed

OnePlus is supposed to unveil their new phone on June 14th, but its official specs have just leaked!

The phone just went through the FCC and most of its specs are now confirmed! The phone will carry the A3000 model number, will weight 160 grams inside its all aluminum design at 7.3mm thin. It's battery as we already told you the other day, will be a 3000mAH one, and it will carry OxygenOS 3.1.0 built on Android. 

Other specs include a 5.5" 1080p screen, a 16MP shooter and an 8MP one for selfies while it will come with 4GB of RAM, even though rumors suggested it would come with 6GB of RAM. There's also a fingerprint scanner on the front and a single speaker on the bottom.

While being approved by the FCC doesn't mean it will be sold in the USA, it means it can be used there and if they drop their invite system it can become very popular and be sold there. We will know all the details on June 14th when they announce it.
